No, I'm pretty sure it is YOU that is missing the point. You're way off in the weeds, complaining about things that don't need complaining.

Seriously, what is it about De'Aaron Fox that causes people some to constantly criticize him no matter how good or great the results are? It's not like the kid is some super cocky, outspoken bad boy. He's not out at strip clubs flashing guns or taking cheap shots at other players.

This ridiculous criticism, especially after big games and big wins, makes absolutely no sense. NONE.

The KINGS are likely gonna finish with their best record since 2004-2005. Fox is leading the charge by dominating Q4 and clutch points across the entire league, including hitting numerous game-winners, YET all some of you can manage to do in response is criticize his decision making and approach to free throws??

You guys engaging in this bush-league nonsense don't deserve to enjoy any of what's going on and what's yet to come.

Furthermore, smart guy, with regard to taking "a three" did you ever stop to consider that, with no timeouts and no chance to setup their defense, De'Aaron knew he'd be able to get an OPEN three due to the threat of his speed and quickness? He said as much during his postgame interview when they hadn't double-teamed him with "around" 4 seconds to go.

Instead, you foolishly believe an OPEN three in rhythm to be a lower percentage shot than, very possibly, a contested 2 considering the defense was playing back?

Furthermore, have you NOT followed De'Aaron career or the pattern of officiating toward the Sacramento Kings? Are you completely unaware?? It sure seems like it.

Swipa has a LONG history of getting poked, bumped, hit, slapped, slammed, you name it -- without a foul call. And last I checked the KINGS have been the victim of the most missed calls during the final 2 minutes of games this season.

But I'll bet none of that factored in to your "hot take".

The end all, be all is --- the shot went IN. As many other clutch shots have gone in for De'Aaron this season.

You'd think it'd appropriate to hold back criticism until, IDK, the guy actually makes a clear and obvious mistake that costs the team a win. Or at least performs poorly consistently.

But, nope. Our resident De'Aaron Fox naysayers don't roll like that. They always got $#1t to complain about even when the going is good.

Good, great, grand, wonderful. Have at it, bro. I'm done reading the incessant and unwarranted negativity from the usual suspects here. This season is too much fun for that.

When was the last time I criticized De'Aaron Fox? I checked. It was January 30, a month and a half ago.

Good thing Fox is a hero.
yeah the thing about hero ball is that it’s good when the guy doing it is capable of simply taking over games. Kobe was an absolutely monstrous ball hog in the clutch. Same with MJ. Absolutely no one complained about that. (Okay, maybe Shaq did but that’s why he got jettisoned from the Lakers). I’m not saying Fox is on the same level as those guys but he’s pretty turned into a superstar level clutch player the likes of which the Kings have really never had. (As good as Bobby was in crunch time, he couldn’t do half of what Fox does with the ball in his hands).

When hero ball becomes a problem is when your random role players decide to try being Kobe when they’re really more of a Derrick Fischer. Y’know, like Buddy Hield. (When Buddy was clutch, he was unstoppable. I just wish he’s have toned it down the other 80% of the time)

Fox needs to keep shooting threes. One of the keys to the ultimate ceiling of this team is Fox becoming a better 3-pt shooter. One more off-season of he and Domas making this a focus - and these dudes will be even more unguardable.

Fox has been balling out all season long. And he is a very smart player. He’s the tip of the spear.

There's really no reason to have a melt down every time someone has a different opinion. Just gotta let stuff slide man. We're watching millionaires play a game. None of this is that serious, especially for any of us.

The team trusts Fox. Brown trusts Fox. As a fan it's a huge gift to feel like you have proven winner who can take over at the end of games.

He's f***ing nice.

That’s just a Kings tradition. Even in the Glory Years, it was the same Southwest Airlines and Carl’s Jr commercials every break.

Its why I've watched maybe 2 kings broadcasts all season. The road teams telecasts are usually more entertaining and most of them aren't as low budget as NBC California.
