[Game] Kings @ Bulls, 2/20/21 6pm PST, 9pm EST

Not even Walton is this stupid. He's watching his 4 guards get munched and doing nothing about it. Now, wouldn't common sense be something like I wonder if Young can do that to DaQuan?

The only logic I can think of that's behind the substitution patterns is tanking.
Probably part of it but it for sure is showcasing. Rookie GM mistakes perhaps. The only thing they've they have done tanked is the value of these assets they are trying to bring back to life at the 11th hour. What is the point here? They canned movement up the ladder to make up for losing Bogdan for nothing? haha, what's the deal here.

Sad he will never resign with us.

Well to tell you the truth, he doesn’t have much of a say over his future until the contract after his next, due to use having his bird rights. As long as we pick up his options and match any offers he receives, he will be under Kings control for the foreseeable future.

I don't think a rookie will turn down a potential max. That is if they offer him the max. If they play games then they better start looking at their options now, not later.

Keep in mind that NBA rules are heavily stacked towards drafting teams retaining their draft picks beyond their rookie deals. Fox, if not traded, will be a King for at least 9 years. If we are willing to pay, then there's no way Marvin can leave before he plays 5 years for us, and he'd have to take a pay cut for a year (taking the QO to become an unrestricted FA after his fifth season) in order to do that.
