Maybe. I always assumed he just looked bad in practice and now I suspect that wasn't true. I'd rather we had developed him than showcasing Thornton. Showcasing is a concept I don't like at all and I really wonder if it happens as much as people think.

You can still develop someone without game time. They sent him down to the D league and worked him into games slowly. Now that they are giving him solid minutes for the final run while sending Terry home shows that they are serious about his development. For Thornton, his contract had to go. 8 mil cap hit for him is impossible. We are lucky the Nets took him. Evans and Terry are both way more tradeable.

The only problem I have with this Thomas/McCallum backcourt is that Malone seems to want to play McCallum off the ball, when they should be doing that the other way around.

Im actually thrilled with this Cuz performance. These are the kind of games franchise guys have. When the shot isn't falling, they find other ways to be lead. Cuz with 5 assists and no TO's is absolutely outstanding. Keep it up big fella!
