As impressive as his beasting is, he does a decent job away from the basket with screens too. Supposedly WCS couldn't beast if he was busy helping outside the key.
I mean he is literally playing like two completely different defensive players at once. He's been routinely helping on switches out on the perimeter then being a rim protector in the paint on the same play.
Kings slow the game down, value each possession and they win the game. The Wiz are showing signs of last year's Kings. Will shoot themselves in and out of games. Just need the Kings to play steady ball and they'll win.
I know Dedmon has been bricking, but for everyone's sake he needs to keep taking the open 3's until they bench him.
Otherwise he's a very well paid Kosta Koufos.
Honestly, watching him play it amazes me that he was ranked so low as a prospect in the draft. Sure, he's underweight but the athleticism and basketball smarts would translate no matter what.
