[Game] Kings at Warriors

I have to admit, listening to Bill Walton commentate on the game is pretty entertaining. He just tells it like it is and uses creative words I have never heard of before in my life.

Donte gives this team energy.

IF he worked hard, really became a dependable shooter, he would be such an asset to the team. Both him and Omri. Our SFs have a very clear so-called job scope - hit 3s,slash, defend. If we could Kevin Martin to grow a few inches, put on some strength and become a better defender he'd be perfect for the team.

Tyreke's last 3 was exactly what I was talking about. We're getting a run, getting good shots or getting to the line, and he pulls some **** like that

Did Westphal actually draw up a play for the team? And the team executed it? Someone's birthday wish came true.

Finished the half strong. Say what you want about Cousins and JT on offense, but they stabalized the interior and and helped us get some of the momentum back.

Bill Walton acknowledging Sabonis. That's why Walton's legit.

ugh and then he calls Shareef a great legend. lol

I was thinking the same thing. Tyreke never gives up the ball and its frustrating.

I think you're exagerating. We've all seen Tyreke set guys up on the fastbreak. Some games he does it more than others. He's missed guys tonight on the break, but to say he never passes on the break is a stretch.

He's been getting better as the season has gone along.

That play with Beno was a flashback though.

This is also BTW why people who are always saying Reke is a fastbreak player and speed it up etc. are jsut wrong. He's a natural halfcourt player. That pace/patience that has so often been remarked upon, whether out of admirration for a young payer having patience or frustration that he does not move the offense faster, is his comfort zone. Get him goigntoo fast and the decisions are not always there, and in particualr when in doubt he develops tunnel vision.

Yeah he wase passing it more on the break a while ago, but the last 2 or 3 games he seems to have gone back to taking it solo or passing too late etc.

As much as I disliked him from back in the day, some of the things that he says makes me laugh. :D

What kind of team are we going to be? Watching these games, even when we win, I am at a loss of seeing what kind of team we will be in the future. I don't really see any consistency in the style of game we play. Does anyone see these games solely about our players getting individual experience and game time under their belts? Over this season I can see players getting better individually, but the whole team identity part doesn't seem like it has improved at all to me. If we want to be competitive I think their needs to be more of an effort to have set plays and rotations regardless of who is playing well. The guys just don't seem to be able to play together as a unit which makes it hard to watch and see some kind of future. I feel like we have the pieces and the talent to be decent, but the team aspect is non-existent and I don't know why. /endrant

What do you mean? We have been competitive over the last month, and our play now compared to Nov is night and day. The rotations have been better, the roles more defined, and Landry commented on that last week. We're in games until the end. We're also a team which will be centered around Cousins and Tyreke, which is pretty obvious.

Ummm....I don't think I am exaggerating. Besides I am not the only one that thinks this either.
