[h=1]KINGS AND MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION TO GRANT ELK GROVE TEEN’S REQUEST FOR BASKETBALL-THEMED ENTERTAINMENT ROOM[/h]--17-year-old Kings fanatic Demarye’s wish for a hoops inspired entertainment space will be granted on Friday with surprise visit by Kings Legend Bobby Jackson--
WHO: Kings great Bobby Jackson with Kings Dancers and Slamson.
WHAT: The Kings organization has partnered with the Northeastern California and Northern Nevada branch of the Make-a-Wish Foundation to create a Kings-themed entertainment room for 17-year-old Demarye, who suffers from a life threatening kidney condition. An avid Kings supporter, Demarye wished for a place where he could “get away” and host friends to watch basketball games. Team staff and personalities will adorn a special room in his house with Kings décor and memorabilia. Surprise appearances by Bobby Jackson, Slamson and Kings Dancers will add excitement to the room makeover unveiling.
WHEN: Friday, June 7, 2013 at 4 p.m.
(Room remodel will take place from 1 – 3 p.m.).
