You know what if we are really going small ball with WCS on the bench. Why not give Tobias Harris the max he would be interchangeable with Gay starting at PF/SF.

What would be a better move.... to replace Collison with Lawson or to replace McCallum/Miller with a more capable backup?
In my opinion, the improvement from Collison to Lawson isn't all that wide. Right now if we're going with McCallum as our backup, we're running out one of the worst backup PG's in the game. Personally I'd rather improve that position with someone who is better ten fold than improve the starting PG position by a few percentage points.

He's a RFA and it would tie up our cap, while we wait for the Magics to match it. I assume they will match it after losing out on Milsap.

Wesley Matthews is a legitimate starting SG in this league...Landry was and always will be a bench player. Not even close.

Let's just say I'm not very optimistic about his recovery...
If it weren't for the Achilles, I'd be down. He WAS a great two way player... now? Jury is out. Signing him will be a pretty big gamble.
Course, maybe he'll be fine and we'll make the playoffs. I just think there is a bigger chance this blows up in our faces.

There's always a chance all of these moves blow up in your face. Acquiring Rudy and drafting Cousins are examples.
There's no possible way to not take much risk....and expect to get ahead anytime soon
Chris Broussard mentioning on twitter than Kings are a possible player for Kostas Koufos. Take it with a grain of salt but for the right price, would really like Koufos but it would cost. If Aron Baynes gets 3/20 then......

I have a sick feeling that it's going to happen but I wish we wouldn't blow our load with Matthews. I'd rather shore up the bench and go after Lin, Williams, Beverly, Koufos or Brewer. If we could pick up 3 of those guys I'd be very happy. We may end up being forced to go that route because I don't see any reason Matthews would want to play here, with taxes he'd make more money in Dallas anyway.

That is one that stings a little. From what we've heard it looks like both the Kings and the Suns kind of messed up on that one. We were debating here about whether Thomas deserved $10 million or not. When free agency started he was getting no offers, there were rumors out there that the Kings could have probably kept him for as low as $2 million a year. Now I'm sure that's a bit of an exaggeration, but even at $4 million, that's a huge bargain then and a massive bargain now. However the front office didn't want him. Honestly I didn't either, at $10 million, at $4 million I could have been convinced.
