Kevin Martin out with a broken wrist for tommorow's game

He's been on fire the last two games, too, so this is good news for us. Obviously it's not good news in general - never good to see a player get injured, especially an ex-King.

But we really should get a win here. Let's hope they don't come out complacent. That OKC game was extremely frustrating, let's take care of business this time.

Wow Minnesota is getting hit hard with injuries. I did not know about Pekovic being out, he's one of the bigs that usually gives Cousins fits. There is no excuse to lose this game now, ultimate composure is required or we will have another OKC game on our hands...puke!

Not to mention T. Young is not expected to be with the team until Sunday meaning Pekovic, Young, Martin, and Rubio will all be out. Still uncertain if Turiaf will be out or not (ribs). If Turiaf ends up sitting out, I have no idea how they plan to stop Cousins. Dieng, Bennett, and Hummel are there only 3 active "bigs" on the roster. If there is ever a game for Cousins to drop 60+, this would be that game. (Knocks on wood :D)

This is a game we should win, and win quite easily. That doesn't mean they should come in overconfident, however.
If anything, it's quite the opposite. You wanna be recognized as a good team? well, you'd better take them seriously and handle
your business. This is still the NBA

Hummel couldn't guard his grandmother. Bennett is a tad undersized. Dieng is a legit defender and might be effective if he can stay out of foul trouble. Big if!

So they are just being usual self...

The Minni game is a maturity test more than anything else. Not much to get distracted by there though other than 20 ft. of snow.

He is a good defender, but Cousins has ~40lbs on him. Cousins has usually performed very well against weaker (as in they aren't very heavy) shotblockers who have tried defending him in the post. With Cousins having such a strength advantage over Dieng, I expect either an onslaught of dunks/layups by Cousins, fouls by Dieng, or plenty of wide open looks for Collison, McLemore, and Gay on the perimeter after the double/triple teams come.
