Kevin and Evans two big Egoist players even I saw

Both of them came to make points for good statistic and try to beat Kobi and Lebron in points and statistics.. They didn't come to play normal team basketball..

Every time when one of them get the ball, they immediately go to throw the ball even if everyone sure that they will not successfully make points.

They don't pass so mach in the game, don't looks for free player on court.. don't gives to other to make their job, and 90% of time trying to make point themself..

One word: 2 Egoist players! Who are makes competition between them -names "Who is better" and don't cares about other players.

It's like only Evans and Kevin plays against 5 players of another team, and other 3 player just watch the game like us, funs..

there are other very good players: Omri Casspi, Spencer Hawes, Donte Greene, Andres Nocioni and other (Udoka and Rodriquez are bad players in team so I shout up about them), since Keven backs, they don't play anymore (with Evans alone was enough bad, now Kevin?)

I'm sure If they will be out of the game, the team will look better, and all player will start to play their game!!

Bad coach.. that's all..

Hope next season team will looks better.. With other coach of course, smarter, and better then current coach.. This season is goes out and stay at minimum wins this season.

hawes is skilled and good... trust me, we just havent given him enough touches and designed plays for him.. remember he torched bynum.. and has had a couple of good games too.. he just needs more time. noc on the other hand is on the downside.

we cannot assume and point that both are egoist players.. what if it was the play westphal runs. remember westphal trusted reke with the 1-4 flat play against denver it paid off. I think its more like Reke is TAKING responsibility and the mantle of leadership of this team, while martin is DOING what he is known for.. SCORING.. if in a few games the offense stagnates and that the movement of the ball is suffering then one must go. we know who it is. Evans has been asked so much in such an early part of his career.

You do realize that in this particular game Evans and Kevin combined for 11 of the Kings 20 assists? (Evans with 7, Kevin with 4)

I think that a post of this nature should at least wait until the pair combines for under 50% of the team's total assists in the game.

Now I do agree that the Kings look a bit...'off' at the moment, and the point totals the Kings have put up the last two days with Kevin coming back has been pretty disappointing. But I do not come to the same conclusion you're coming to.

I think I'll just leave it at that.

Kevin play is selfish and Reke loves the ball as well. I can not see kings getting better as a team and gets a lot of W's, while both of them plays.

Regarding the rest ... no offense but it's a total crap.

Give the duo some time man. I know the scoring hasn't been good for 2 games but I did see some things to be excited about. One thing is the drive and kick. Tyreke's penetration is going to lead to many open shots for kevin in the corner. It happened a few times tonight. On another thought, I like Spencer, but I do agree that he is a guard stuck in a big man's body. For once I just wish he would take the ball up hard when he is under the basket instead of flipping up the soft stuff he has for the past 3 years.

Dude you wrote a lot of bullxx but I agree on one point:

Reke and Martin are holding the ball way too long.
I didnt see any good ball movement in the last 2 games.
We need to play as a team, move the ball and hit the open shots.
Its not a 2 men game, we have 5 good players on the floor-stop this rubbish 1:1 the whole game-pass the ball.
I have nothing to complain about Westphal. If you have a healthy player like KMart, you have to let him start but still not forget the players that carried the team within the last months such as Greene, Udrih Casspi etc.
We have to wake up and play as a team and not for individual stats.
Guys, its hard to deny that the chemistry, intesity and team play we had a while ago is totaly gone..

While i do agree that evans brings the ball up the court really slow, or takes too long holding onto it, i truly disagree with the part where you think that martin and evans are ballhogs, or don't pass because they want to compete with Lebron and Kobe in statistics. No, it's not a stupid assumption. It's an observation of what's happened since our European membership increased.

This board has been around for a very long time. It's devoted to an American NBA team and we primarily discuss NBA basketball.

What's happening now is a lot of fans of European basketball are coming here because their favorite player has become part of our team - an AMERICAN NBA TEAM.

There are bound to be differences in points of view and opinion. That's to be expected. Do you really think it's a coincidence that the ONLY votes to agree with the OP are from Europeans?

Dude, it's about discussing differences without resorting to nationalistic clap-trap. We've been doing this a long time but I strongly suspect a good number of our European members have not been active fan participants on an NBA message board before.

We need to find ways to get along but I think sometimes the tendency of some on both sides of the argument is to assume they know more than the other about the game we all love.

What I don't like from either side is the stereotypical responses such as what started this thread. Kevin and Tyreke are NOT "egoist" players. When someone starts off condemning two of the best players on the Kings with insults, I don't know what they expect from those of us who have followed the NBA and this team for years.

We can all get along and most likely most of us will. But it's gonna take effort on both sides. We're about the name on the front of the jersey much more than the name on the back.
