First off, never base any opinion you have on a player off of a youtube video. OK! I could make you look like a star in a youtube video. That said, what you see is, is sometimes what you get, and that youtube video captured the essence of Brownlee's offensive game. He is a very good athlete. He can dunk the ball. But he has no game away from the basket. And for a SF, you have to have some sort of game away from the basket. Brownlee was a junior college transfer in his junior year. And he did play a lot of minutes last season for St. Johns. If he were a great defensive player, I, and I'm sure, most of the NBA scouts would have him rated higher. But he's average at best. His handles are just OK, and he isn't a good passer. Or if he is, he hasn't shown it.
In short, there are far more talented players I would take in the second round before him. I seriously doubt he'll be drafted, and he's prime candidate for the developmental league, or playing in europe.
