Just received this email about the July 25th County of Supervisors vote.

Just getting the info out.

IMPORTANT COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
VOTE ON TUESDAY, JULY 25
Dear Chris,

We love Sacramento.

We are so excited for our fans…the people of Sacramento County will finally have the opportunity to vote on a bold vision for our region.
The new arena we agreed upon with the County and City this week will serve as a huge catalyst for a spectacular development on the Railyards that will kick-start the revitalization of a major blight in Sacramento's downtown.
Many great people of Sacramento have asked us how you can participate in the campaign.
Your first opportunity is right now. Four of the five County Supervisors must vote on July 25 to move forward with putting the new arena on the November ballot.
Please call or email each of the County Supervisors below to express your views before their meeting Tuesday. Even if you live outside of Sacramento County, your voice will be heard as the Supervisors consider this important matter for our entire region.

Thank you very much for all of your loyal support,

People should go to that meeting.

You know the anti-ites will be there. They always are. And whoever has the most organized and best represnted voice might be the one that carries the day in this sort of debate.

People should go. As a group preferably.

I agree wholeheartedly with Bricklayer.

If you go, however, PLEASE be respectful. Do not alllow yourselves to get drawn into yelling matches or anything else that might reflect poorly on Kings fans.

Would punching R.E. Graswich in the face reflect poorly on Kings fans? ;)

If you can't make it to the meeting, send an email to the Members of the Board of Supervisors asking them to support a ballot measure so that the citizens can vote on the issue.

Good lord, no. That would be cause for dancing in the streets AND some sort of alteration to the big ugly 6, turning it into a P to forever commemorate your brave deed.

:D

EDIT: And that's just what I'd do. The Maloofs might name an arena after you or something.
