Either ... Or

Use some logic on this:

Ric Bucher said we didn't do our homework on our coach.
Petrie said we did massive homework on our coach even citing some specific sources

Bucher's information is often poor and untrustworthy
Petrie is a detail oriented GM, known as one of the best in the business

Either Bucher's information is inaccurate
Or Petrie is blatantly lying to the city of Sacramento

Hmmmmm, though choice.

on the yao issue. Wasn't SAR a 20 and 12 guy on atlantas aweful teams?

20 and barely 10.

Which is actually quite a way from 25 and 11 anyway, but which also of course went on for 10 straight years. Just a TAD early to call Yao's emergence in a completely ruined Rocket season good player on bad team syndrome. We'll have to see what it looks like when the rest of the starters aren't the dominant quartet of Juwann Howard, Keith Bogans, Luther Head and Rafer Alston.

most of the rest of the Western Conference believes the Kings just made themselves irrelevant.
Well think of it this way.. We have declined record wise, and playoff wise every year since 2001.

One thing to keep in mind is the vastly different coaching styles Adelman vs. Muss. Adelman let the players relatively free to play their way within a loose structure. Muss on the other hand, history wise anyway, is pretty demanding to play his way. Let's see what he learned at the Warriors and watching Fratello deal not so great with "personalities". Maybe he learned well. Then again....................... we'll see.

Record wise, yes we declined.

Playoff wise, losing 4-2 to the Spurs is better than 4-1 to the Sonics.

There's your problem. You tried to apply logic to something Ric Bucher said. That's liable to cause a rift in the space-time continuum.

Not to mention that Bucher's face is buried so far in the Lakers' laps that it's hard to see how he could possibly be paying any REAL attention to other NBA teams...

He seriously almost broke down and began crying on live TV...it was hilarious.

And he tried SO hard to make it seem like what he heard was the truth.

The guy is such a tool. lol

But, to me, that's obvious as to the reason why he hated on the Kings, ESPECIALLY Chris, for such a long while.
what was all this crying business over? his predictions not coming true? because if that's what it was, it must rain the bucher house a lot.

lol someone used brad as a barometer for dominance. that's one for the books.
it was just to highlight yao's abilities, not so much his dominance. as in, "i don't care if he's dominant, i'd rather have him."

I was listening to sportsline last night and they had David Dupree on from USA Today who I think is the best basketball expert out there, the most knowledgeable anyway. He said he loved the Musselman hiring and said he thinks Artes and himself will get along fine, he said you may see them butting heads some, but than five minutes later they will be talking about because even though they both have type A personalities they both know each of them wants to win and that is the number one thing for both of them just winning. He also said he thinks Muss is one of the up and coming coaches in this league and that if the Kings did not hire him he would have been on an NBA bench real soon.

Oh and than Dupree also said he thinks the Suns will be the favorite going into next year and that they will run away with it, but he thinks the Kings will surprise some people and be right there til the end.

Pretty much. He got on ESPN and ESPNews if I remember correctly, and just proclaimed how Webber to the Knicks was 150% a done deal, he is going to the Knicks, Sacramento is out of it, they are done...Webber to the Knicks is a 200% sure thing, he's signing the contract as we speak.

About 2 hours later...Webber resigned and he was on TV trying to prove how right he was. lol

Heh, Bucher thinks we should have talked with the perennial losers GSW about a hire? It sounds arrogant to say it like that but it's the truth. You're talking about an organization that has struggle from top to bottom for years and is still struggling.

The blurb about Bibby is somewhat interesting, though. But it's a concern with any star whose been playing a certain way for a long time. He didn't have any problems with Larry Brown, and from what he's said, seems to even like him. Then again he did drop out of the OLY team.

hmmm I actually like(d) Bucher - What kind of crap is that? Most of the westen conf??? What thats reporting?

Guess I am going to have to lower him on the Waxer scale to 2 (similar to the fujita scale) and increase his threat level to orange.
