Don't Make Me Use The Bat
Last I checked, Hayes wasn't playing next to a 6'11 270 pound center in Houston. Dally has terrible B-Ball IQ, is an average at best post-man defender, and no offensive game whatsoever. I'm more than confident that Hayes(if healthy) will end up being more productive than Dally by the end of the year
No, he really won't.
And Daly was a very good man defender for us last year. And his offensive game is light years ahead of Hayes'. People just miss what is right before their eyes sometimes. But all the rep, rumor, "well I heard" stuff in the world still leaves me flabbergasted people somhow missed how extremely effective Daly was after the All Star break last year when he averaged 11.0pts 11.2 rebs for us next to Cousins. I mena, we were killing people inside every night. How did people miss that? Now Daly just keeps on rolling on like old man river. After a few weeks to get into shape he was easily Houston's best center too, moved into his normal starting spot, and is averaging 9.1pts 9.3rebs 2.4blks a game in 27.2min as a starter for a surging team. Just as he's always done. Just as he did for us. Just as he should still be doing for us. Cousins/Daly/JT was a potent trio. If anything happened there other than Daly not wanting to come back, it was a flat ****up.
