I cannot even begin to comprehend a lifestyle whereby that would be my normal, everyday residence.

I like it -- not just as a big house, but like the organization and structure + landscaping. Its huge of course, but from the sky at least comprehensible and I suspect livable. I've seen some monsters that are just a mess, like they were built to be intentionally chaotic and confusing to make them feel bigger.

I agree; it's drop-dead gorgeous and obviously well thought out, down to the putting green and full-scale gymnasium, etc. I just find it mind-boggling that it's "home"...

The "worst" part is that the most of the rest of Highland Park looks like that. Kukoc lives in the neighbourhood too. Never moved, despite the trades.

Wow, he's got everything he needs right there, if the grocery stores deliver he never has to leave. I could live in one of those rooms and he'd probably never even notice I was there. Imagine his kids growing up in a house like that then having to move out to an apartment, what a culture shock!

I saw a show about a smaller compound in Palm Springs that was like a hotel. It had 38 bathrooms. Jordan's place probably has upwards of that many. Imagine that. The first time you shop for the house, you get 38 bars of soap, 38 rolls of TP, 2 towels each (finest quality) = 76. That's just the bathrooms. The scale of his home is truly obscene. I'm assuming there's a 15-20 car garage, a full theater, game room, indoor pool, bowling alleys, arcade, trophy gallery, you name it.

even if i had the money, i dont think i'd ever want a place THAT big. i wouldn't want to spend the time or moeny to keep it all up.

i'd rather just have a "normal 4-5 bedroom place, with 4 bathrooms max
