not gonna happen.john wall/tyreke evans backcourt anyone??
Why? Did Wall get injured or get a DUI too?Only with the King's luck I guess. At least John Wall is that much closer I guess.
What makes you think the Kings are going to get John Wall?john wall/tyreke evans backcourt anyone??
What makes you think the Kings are going to get John Wall?
Does anyone think youngster John Wall (should the Kings get him) would come in and start tearing it up in the NBA at its most demanding position - PG? He might, but Wall would be a big exception since we know how long it normally takes to "do it" regardless of collegiate or high school talent.
Unless the Kings want to wait until around 2014-15 for him to really come into his own at the next level, maybe Kings would be better off looking to the FA market for a big time PG - if that's what they will be seeking next year. Also, for what it's worth, Minny is said now likely to trade the rights to Rubio since they have come to really like Flynn.
At this rate we shoudl have a 20+% chance at it, so that's enough to dare to dream.
But sure, probably not, but there look to be other juicy little tidbits at the top of the next draft as well. As long as Kevin recovers 100% from this thing, and it is just a broken arm after all so he should, it could even work in our favor. Our kids get development time, we move closer to landing another talented one in the draft, then Kevin comes back off of ice + at some point here we will have simply accumulated enouguh talent that this thing turns. Either the kids themsevles turn it, or we are in positon to make a gigantic Boston style push while shooting kids and picks all over the league.
And using logistical statistics (not really), since we lost out on Blake Griffin in the previous draft, we have extra percentage for getting the first pick in the next one. I mean, what are the chances of getting screwed over twice?

Well, we'll just have to see how he does in college.
...I hope he doesn't decide to go over to Spain and play for 5 years.![]()

that makes no sense. Who has ever done that that has been drafting out of college?? Or are you being sarcastic?
Yes pleasejohn wall/tyreke evans backcourt anyone??
Yes please.
john wall/tyreke evans backcourt anyone??
Assuming that nothing goes horribly awry in the next 7 months, and he continues to look like the best player in this draft, HELL YES.

Didn't you guys get the message? Wall and Evans as the backcourt; Rudy Gay at the three. I thought everybody knew...
Unless the Maloofs pony up the money to "win" the first overall draft pick, the chances are pretty slim. Seriously, how often does the first overall pick have to go to a big market team with impossible odds for somebody to figure out that its rigged?
Kings will draft Cole Aldrich....I just have this feeling.
