"Losing by 26 at Boston is enough to make anyone loopy, but PF Jermaine O'Neal reportedly went nuclear in front of coach Rick Carlisle and team prez Larry Bird after the Pacers embarrassed themselves last week. . . ."
Could be interesting. Pacers are one of my favorites in the East, but watching them implode could have some indirect benefits for the Kings.
Of course, with JO and Ron's history there's no way GP would go after him directly. But if O'Neal demands a trade and heads to the Lakers or Bulls, that's one less competitor for the Kings in the hopefully-inevitable KG sweepstakes.
GP could also try a three way Brad/SAR/Pot to Indy, JO to Minny, and KG to Sac deal.
In any case, all way premature
but worth considering if you're bored on a Monday morning. Could be an interesting trade deadline with KG, JO and Gasol all potentially discontents and wanting a move. Think the Kings would be right in the swing of things for at least one of the three with a Miller/SAR/Garcia+pick package--depending how much youth the Lakers and Bulls are willing to give up.
