Straight up for Tyrone Lue. Houston still needs a point guard in the worst way.

P.S. I should point out that JB is Jon Barry
 
I still miss him, not for just what he brought on the court but for his enthusiasm, his love of the game, his community activities, etc.

I may actually miss Jon Barry more than any other former King still playing...

While that is not as big a statement coming from me (since my screen name isn't vf21), I still agree wholeheartedly. JB would be my favorite King if he was on this team.
 
I was a fan of Vlade's before he came to the Kings and I am one now, although for all intents and purposes I view him as retired. It looks more and more likely that his back may prevent him from playing again at anything less than an "old guy taking minutes so the real guys can get some rest" level.

I miss the 2002 Vlade Divac. I do not miss the 2004-2005 version because he would have been a shadow of his former self and, quite frankly, it would not have been pretty to watch...

Man, I'm drowsy. I was going to take a nap right after work, but I rented Cast Away and watched it and I ate some macaroni and cheese. Now I'm really tired. I think I'll take that nap now. Nap time. Maybe I can force an opinion about this Lue for Jon Barry trade later...

Me too... :( Just reading that he got traded makes me hope he was traded to the Kings!

Don't bother. As someone who isn't a Kings fan, you couldn't possibly understand how we have felt about Jon Barry.

Houston will be better now T-Lue has sucked these past few years. As much as Brent Barry has been talked about this year (he isn't even in SA's rotation anymore!) John is way more effective at energizing a team. Id bet a lot that they'll improve with this trade. I was kinda hopin we'd pick him up... Oh well..

The blame for that goes on Vlade. It was a stupid thing to do.

I have made my position about booing abundantly clear many times. I think it's classless and juvenile and I think people who boo their own team (or people like Jon, or Scot, or Jason, etc. who were very well liked while they were Kings) are morons.

I aggreee but there is a difference. Booing someone for playing bad or in a mean and spitefull is wrong booing someone because of a joke is totally different. The only time I was embarassed is when the crowd booed CWebb. That is not being a fan when you boo in that manner.
 
Rumor has it that Vlade will retire after this season. He was put back on the IR a couple days ago.
