Hall of Famer
Early game folks - 3:30 pm ET
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
On February 5th 1992:eek: Kings beat Jazz;) 100 - 98 to improve to 16 - 31 record at that time. Kings were lead by Richmond who had 23/6/5, Webb had 16/4/11, Causewell had 14 and 5 blocks, Simmons had 12/11/2 and Tisdale has 10/4/2. Hopson had 13/4 of the bench.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kings 19 - 27 - 5 games away from the PO spot but much closer to the lottery managed to embarrass themselves (and us) yet again last night. Kings are still last pretty much everywhere You look. On the other hand we have won 4 straight at home and we will play next 3 games there. will it get better - probably not but it might be interesting because with these kings - You never know.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I might be repeating myself over and over with this but bad/awful/horrible/ teams always and I mean ALWAYS find a way to lose. If there is no way - they make it up or invent it. Kings earned a PhD last night in a "text book" way on how to lose a won game in a quarter. Hell, Kings even beat the "theory of big numbers" - which "never" fails. If "Nike" ever makes comercial - "as bad as You suck - I suck more than you" - Kings should be in it.
How can You not make a single shot in a quarter ? What is a thinking process ? I don't care who is on the floor and what is going on - You have got to hit one shot in 12 minutes of play. Scarry thing - it will get worse.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leadership is something You can't 'buy" on ebay. You can't learn it at school either. You have to be born with it and you have do develop it over the years. It doesn't have anything to do with the level of talent as a player. It is in the character. in the last couple years Kings went from 100 to 0 in that department. Just because someone wants to be a leader doesn't meant that he can. It is easy to "lead" when shots are falling and the winning streaks go to 6-7 games. When team is struggling and the snow ball effect is rolling - a leader steps up and takes control - physically, emotionally etc.
we have nothing left but talk and talk has never been cheaper.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
What else can be said about the last night's game that hasn't been said already. Even after a sleepless night - still can't believe WTF happened there. 2 awful teams played a game in which no one wanted to win and after both teams tried really hard to lose - Kings prevailed. we outsucked Utha for a place in history. It was a physical game as usual. Unfortunately, only one team was physical - and it was not us. We really needed Webber to "level" Stockton last night. Ups, wrong team - sorry. We were destroyed by Ostertag of all people. Remember - the former King who used to watch lots of games behind the bench because Hobbit ball was "in" Milt (all star) Palacio defended his TDM award with an impressive performance. We played solid for 3/4 of the game but unfortunately did not get 3/4 of the win.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jazz again but this time Kings will win. Not even Kings can suck that bad twice in a row. ARCO will help. Kings will want badly to 'make up." It will be physicall again and Sloan might not finish the game but kings will take a beating again because that is how Jazz play. We just have to fight back. Jazz will pack it in and kings have to make shots. We will see a hobbit ball again.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike - has got to be more agressive and just play some f - ing defense. nobody has ever been embarrassed by Milt palacio twice in back to back games.
Ron - he is a BB player and not a magician. He can't defend for 4 other players. i hope he is ok. pils seams to be working fine so far.
SAR - that man is suffernig a lot these days
Bonzi - a triple double threat. Way too rusty for the minutes he has to play.
Brad - need him back and soon. We have nobody who can reaplace him even remotely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kevin - disappeared in the 2nd half but the veterans shouldn't have let this happen in the first place
KT - did not do too well last night
Garcia - same old
Hart - ???
Corliss - maybe should focus more on his column
Skinner - almost hit a free throw
Price and Sampson - DNP - WC (who cares)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
RA - he did not deserve to go trough the last one
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Jazz - always the same just like their coach. Palacio is going for a threepeat
and there is not stopping him. Jazz suck (except Okur and Kirilenko). We have got to win this one
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lakers on a 3 game losing streak (Pistons, Bobcats, Hornets):D

piksi-please quit saying it will get worse because so far you've been right;). Maybe if you say it will get better, it actually will. I can hope anyway.
BTW I like the pig:)

Do You want me to lie to You ? ;)

Fact is that Kings are still in Sacramento and as long as the are there - it can get worse and it just feels like it will.

There is a giant snow ball rolling down the hill and it is picking up more snow as its roll along. Nobody it trying to stop it. People that were capable of that were replaced one by one for various reasons (none of them any good). Others came in their places but they are clueless. All they are doing - is creating new paths to "slow" it down. But the ball is still rolling towards the village and it is getting stronger ans soon enough there will be no stopping it. Village will have to evacuate and people will have to start their lives all over again - UNLESS - someone/something stand up in front of that ball and crush it. As of this moment - there is noone in sight and You can feel the panic mode in the village where people are blaming each other instead of trying to find a way to solve the problem. And don't count on FEMA either.

We could use some defense... What's he doing these days :D

... On second thought... Maybe not.

OUCH!!! Why does the truth have to sting soooooo much?

This is why, when it comes to the Kings, I prefer to ignore reality and live in "Dream Land."

It will get better. It will get better. It will get better. It will get better.

It is a beautiful bright sunny day today, at least up here. The snow cannot stand up to bright sunlight. Sun > snow.

I am going to believe that the sun will come out tomorrow (too) and that the snowball has, in fact, already begun to shrink in size. The village will be safe.

Kirilenko said that they still would of won even if Artest was playing the last few minutes. It's time to prove him wrong and destroy the cheaters.

AK-47 can pretty much say whatever he likes. It don't impress me much.

;)

Cheaters? Sorry but that sounds so fourth grade. ;)

I just checked the forecast and there are clearly dark clouds on the sky and also chance of snow today - 75%.

If I end up being wrong (I sure hope so) - i will fire my meteorologist

And, with Artest playing, I have to post one of my favorite bits of dialogue from my all-time favorite movie:

ARTHUR:
Now stand aside, worthy adversary.
BLACK KNIGHT:
'Tis but a scratch.
ARTHUR:
A scratch? Your arm's off!
BLACK KNIGHT:
No, it isn't.
ARTHUR:
Well, what's that, then?
BLACK KNIGHT:
I've had worse.

GO KINGS!!!!!
