Boy is that gotta be painful. I hate back injuries. You can't get comfortable in any position.

Too bad about the injury. JT is one you could always count on to be available to play.

What's funny is Sean May is making fun of Thompson on Twitter about it to. I though Maybe Thompson just didn't something dumb at practice, because May didn't say exactly what happened, he just elduded to it. Thompson seemed to have a good sense of humor about it though.

Yeah its a shame. That was the second fall he's taken like that this year. Sooner or later its going to catch up with you.. Maybe the time off will give him time to clear his head and re-focus.

Also means that the training staff let him run around out there for the rest of the game with a broken back. Lucky he did not take another fall. Didn't that happend before half? Surprised they didn't x-ray him at halftime.

You know, I was shocked they didn't x-ray him either. I guess that tells me what kind of a training staff we have.

You assume the Maloofs have sprung for an x-ray machine.

It would be foolish not to have one.

Damn that Chris Wilcox! He had his leg out while he pushed JT backwards over it. The refs got a little militant on Wilcox for a bit, calling fouls for anything on him. But now JT is gonna miss some games:mad:

It's unbelievable that he actually got up and kept playing after the injury. Arco was as quiet as a tomb while he lay there, and I was surprised to see him get up on his own let alone return to play.

I wish him a speedy recovery.

This injury of Thompson's is not all that surprising. Has anyone noticed that on many occassions when Thompson jumps on slams, especially with any kind of running start, it's like his feet go way out in front of him with his head way back? I'm surprised this has happened much earlier. It's like he's bottom heavy.

If there's one thing Jason has, it's heart. He may need to refine his skills but i think with how tough he is he will always be a great roleplayer and maybe a starter...

Or Westphal can just keep him on the bench and start Ime at the five instead.

Give me a break dude AV reported in the bee today that Spencer was working with the starters in practice today. Spencer hasn't been alienated, he's not going to tell PW "no I don't want to play anymore". If he goes out does a decent job defensively and plays within himself and grabs more than 2 rebounds he'll be starting for the forseeable future.

In case you were wondering, the udoka part was a joke.

Coming from someone who has suffered from back problems most of my life, I knew that hurt something in that fall. He landed way to square to just get up and play. Get better, we need you.
