Vlad said:It's funny how fickle people on this board are. Peja is shooting terribly now, but I'm not quite sure if he's mired in a deep, long slump. I wouldn't be surprised if he breaks out for 30+ in one of the next few games.
In the six games before he hurt his finger, his stats were:
24.2 ppg
5.8 rpg
3.3 apg
51% fg
47% 3pt
He was again beginning to play like 2003-2004 MVP candidate Peja. It's a long season and he'll be back soon.
I AGREE WITH VLAD!!!!! We all know Peja is soft and never will be good rebounder but...
Recently he has been playing with an "injury" to his hand. It's probably not as bad as he says it is although he says that it's the worst sprain he's ever had. Give it time.... just look at his stats before the injury.
