Im not even from sacramento, but when grant and jerry lost it, and i saw paul westphals post game comments, i just cried my eyes out.

Even now im teary. I may not live in sacramento, but right now I just cant stop crying. The city, the fans, the team.. just amazing...

Theres just been so many memories, to the richmond era to when we nearly won a championship... all i can say is...

I'll always be a SACRAMENTO KINGS fan for eternity....

Couldn't have said it better myself. The tears are streaming uncontrollably now. I'm not even from the US, but I really don't know if I can be a fan of this team in another city. It might be too hard. I'm invested as much in Sacramento with my fellow fans and friends as much as I am with the team. I've met some great people on this forum over the years, and it kills me that their team is being taken away.

I honestly haven't been this upset in years. Last night was amazing. The fans should be extremely proud of themselves. Watching Grant and Jerry was extremely hard, and set my tears rolling down my cheek. Seeing JT, Donte, Pooh and the other guys coming out to the fans was amazing, and showed just how much the fans here are appreciated. Truly a touching moment.

We do not deserve to lose this team.

Mark Kreidler on the Rise Guys just said that the maloofs sister showed up with a team of camera men and gaffers, apparently for her show, Housewives of Orange Country, or whatever the hell it is. He also said that the maloofs seats remained empty, until they were given to LAKER FANS! Just one final kick in the balls on their way out. Kreidler thought that was extremely classless. Completely uncalled for. You or whoever is in charge of the owners seats are really gonna give them to laker fans on the last night of basketball in Sacramento?? REALLY???? Small potatoes in the larger picture but it kind of represents how this whole thing has gone down.

Yeah, what's that about? Was that the random drawing where they pick a fan from the nose bleed section to sit in Kings row and it just happened to be Lakers fans or were these people specifically invited to take the Maloofs' seats? Either way, that's pathetic, but if it's the latter it's absolutely classless.

Not a shocker. The people on that show are complete idiots. If the Honda Center is filled up with those kinds of people the team will never make it down there. The "fans" will be too busy eating cheese and drinking whine and talking about their latest plastic surgery procedures. They will care less about the Anaheim Royals.

whoof.

that's a tough picture.

really captures a moment - and an entire concept, of withstanding heartbreak in life.

thanks for posting.
