mmm..not so much. We kind of got pushed around again actually. But we played throught the ugliness, mostly kept our composure, and just won it on the strength of superior ball movement.

im a big seattle fan, except for fortson. i really cannot stand that punk. what has it been like 5 times against the kings this year hes gotten a technical foul? thats one every game! plus two for that one when he was punkin my boy cwebb!!! way to go fortson. id be happy to play them in the playoffs cos that fool would be so dirty and such a loose cannon that every game and just get his butt kicked out.

Not nearly enough. Kings did not look as soft as usual maily BECEAUSE they did NOT whine, but seriously I did much pushing back and definalty not near enough against DFF.

Watching and listening to games on TV ...A LONG TIME AGO ... and how the announcers would say "Who says basketball is a non-contact sport ???" ...

It has definitely gotten MORE PHYSICAL under the boards in the NBA as a whole, and it's nice to FINALLY see our King's bang in there with the rest of 'em.

I have been watching the NBA and ABA since the 70's... the game was MUCH more physical in the 70's and 80's. guys would fight with little or no suspension time and fights were VERY comon. Things that would be a flagrant resulting in ejection, suspension today were comon fouls with no more consequesnce than 2 FT's (watch Mc Hale closhline Rambus in the NBA finals). It might be fair to say the game has gotten rougher over the past few years than it was at the end of the whimpy 90's.

Corliss, Brian, Darius, and Gregg will mix it up with anyone. They were perfect last night. If they would have smacked Fortson appropriately, some Kings would have been suspended. We do not need that! The Kings handled Fortson perfectly. We finally have a tough and smart team. The playoffs will be fun. Watch out for the Kings. They will not be favored, but I expect them to get into the second round, or beyond!
