How in the hell did Joerger wring out 39 wins from that team?
  • Bagley was somewhat effective off the bench, was a mismatch against smaller players.
  • Willie's per 36 numbers were 16/11, and while he didn't protect the rim, he was generally an effective player that year.
  • The uptempo game suited Fox's speed and Buddy's conditioning.

The weaknesses that team had were defending the SF position (kind of important to be able to keep track of your Lebrons, Durants, and Giannis'), and a bench offense that got stagnant, turn the ball over and would give up huge leads.
