Or is the clock ticking away slowly? honestly, I just don't know what to say anymore last thing I needed was breaking my TV control when I watched the Kings play the Cavs IS THERE HOPE!!!!???? Cause I'm disgusted right now in shame.

Wait for december 15th and hope this team can start to win a few games, if we can only be a few games under .500 or even when we make a trade on DEC 15 for a superstar or just a better team, then there is hope!

TRADE EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!

(besides bonzi)

Hmmm... Of course! In this team? I would have to say yes. Stranger things have happened. And the talent is there.

But, its true, I would think time is running out. As a caution, I would save on buying any player jerseys until a significant change has occurred.

Good grief.

You're disgusted in shame?

Dude, based on a number of your previous posts, you really need to find a different sport to follow.

Breaking your TV control when you watched tonight's game?

At some point, you do have to remember that - blood, tears, etc. aside - it's a game. It's a game we pour our hearts out about, but it's a game. There are a LOT bigger problems in the world right now...

EDIT: I almost forgot to answer your question.

"Is there hope?"

No.

There wasn't any hope before the season started.

There was not? I think alot of people had faith we would go win 50 games again this year even ( myself ) I thought we were gonna win the pacific division we need to make a trade soon I think something needs to be done before this team goes on a run.

:: shrugs ::

I knew better. Which isn't to say that I feel good about being "right," because it feels like crap.

You asked a question. Why are you arguing about the answer? If it's not the answer you wanted, that's a shame but it's a viable answer just the same.

You thought the team would win 50 games? You thought the team would win the Pacific Division?

Apparently, it's not the answers that are wrong. It's your expectations.

The Kings are my life :(

Oh please. Now you're just being silly.

I've been a fan for over 20 years. I have more memorabilia in my house than a lot of sports shops. (And that's nothing, compared to Kingsgurl for example). I follow this team religiously. I love them as much as I can love anything I'm not actually related to... and having said all that, they're not my life.

If you think the Kings are truly THE MOST important thing in your life, you really need to step back and reassess your priorities.

It's a game... a game we love, but just a game all the same.

Kings-Wolves, Kings-Cavs OUCH!

As Sam Amick's post-Cav's game article said, Petrie and Adelman don't have any answers now either. I also think he said to be a bit more patience until after the coming 4-game road trip. Ok....................... hmmmmm

Hope for what exactly?

Its a pertinent question.

Hope to win a title? None. Never was much.

Hope to become an elite team? None. Was slim to start with.

Hope to make the playoffs? Still alive, but beginning to dim riht now.

Hope to recover to mediocrity? Still a solid chance. We may not be good, but we have too mcuh talent to win 30 or whatever.

Personally, ratehr than stumble in as a #8 seed and get spanked by somebody, I'd rather take the tatters of our dignitiy, dive intoteh lottery for a year, get a nifty kid or two, trade for a few more, and start over next year wiht a full rebuilding project with young talent we hope will grow into something. This lingering crap is much harder than just accepting reality and starting over.

I don't know, I think we have enough talent to not have to start from scratch. Going young makes sense when your franchise players are 35 years old, but not when they are just entering there prime. I am thankful we at least have some options other than just dumping players for picks knowing there is a 1/100 chance they will EVER be as good as what we've got now.

Not to mention that Petrie has very tradable talent and with a new direction could get some players that would better compliment one another.

I still wanna believe guys, I think we all should stay as believers and as someone mention stranger things have happened before.

GO KINGS!!!!!

I'm not so sure anymore...

I'm starting to think and wonder how are beloved Kings are actually going to do this year. I'd been saying all along that they would probably have problems at first and then around mid-December they were going to come out of it, win like 10 straight games and then start dominating people all around. I think I might have been wrong. Bibby looks like garbage, Brad thinks Defense is fouling people and Peja....well where is he? I personally think Shareef and Wells has been playing great. Getting boards, scoring points and playing pretty good Defense (nothing spectacular but good). Our bench consists of little people. Our BIG TOUGH guys are Big Nasty
(what 6'7) and Skinner (at 6'9)...that is the biggest we got? I really don't know about this club. For a couple days I've been starting to think that a coaching change would be something good for our team. I love Adelman, don't get me wrong good coach, but he has been here how long? 8 years! That is ancient for a coach to be with one team for that long. Something really scary that I started thinking was maybe, just maybe, getting rid of Webber was a stupid move. I don't know but if you start to look at it...you could say it is definately a possibility. I really hope that our team turns it around...I'm starting to really get worried now though.

Really confused and worried fan!!!!

Aren't we all! I think there is still time to turn this team around, but I don't know how much time this team would need or how much time they will get. I doubt that the Maloofs and Geoff Petrie are sitting back and could care less what this team is doing. For all we know the wheels could already be turning. The question is, in what direction?

I sometimes wish we had a GM with a big mouth, because Petrie could very well keep things the way they are till next summer, or pull off a major trade tommorrow. Of course Petrie never loses his poker face so we won't know till it happens. I still trust in the management of this team! As well as the players!

I'm going to run the risk of being chastised for repeating/mixing threads. IMO the pink elephant in the room is.........well, let me put a question out first. Would you have more hope and enthusiam if it was announced tomorrow that an arena plan has been approved, and that issue is finally resolved? For me, how I feel about the Kings' current play is underscored by the fact that the possibility of the team leaving Sac is a reality of at least some measure. It just affects my level of depression and criticsim of the teams' performance. Let's face it......this is a transition/rebuilding year. OK, I accept that. But it's hard to support a team that is in that mode when they might not be here in the future. So it affects my hope. Is there hope? I'm not sure yet.

Holy cow-it's just a game!! You're really taking things a little bit too far. Step away from the TV for awhile if it's actually going that far!

Who, exactly, are you identifying as our 'franchise' player(s) I don't see one, let alone more than one. I see a 'core' meaning guys who have been here and Petrie decided to build around, I see some guys who were supposed to be 'flexible trading pieces' that must have turned out not to be all that flexible or tradable after all. (want to get really depressed/outraged about salary like everyone used to when Webber was here, consider this, we are now paying that same amount of money for KT to come in and give us what little he does and for Skinner and Corliss to sit)

im so glad that i dont live in sac..... cause this is some bullpoop.... im mad that my team is losing but its not the end of the world....

by next tuesday we could be back at .500 if we win the next 4 games hou, sea, nok and minny are all winable games... then we play sas and det, who will beat the crap out of us..... then we play the bobcats, mavs, blazers and clippers.... we arent that far behind the rest of the division......

My hope is that they gel and play better - and that could happen at any time. So I'd say "Yes". I harbored no real hopes of post-season grandeour, and I still think we could be pretty darn good with some modification, possibly (and the most unlikely) if some changes are made by RA in the rotations, etc, more likely by a trade. It will be interesting to see if anything does happen soon with trades, etc, if they stay in this funk they are in....

Give the guy a break, geez. Many sports analysts believed that the kings would win 50+ and take the pacific too, don't get on his so bad for believing them. Give it a break for god's sake.

Proof positive that most 'sports analysts' aren't that good, especially at judging teams that haven't even stepped on the court :p
