man i know this is a kind of selfish first post but i just tried buying some tickets for me and my pals and it said that there isnt any left--and i'm here in e-whimper to ask is there anything we can do?

p.s. hay guys

Don't know for sure, of course, but if that's the message then it's quite possible they've sold out the upper bowl.

I suggest trying back often. As season ticket holders upgrade their seats to the lower level, more upper level seats will become available.

Note: I tried getting in using the link on the 1st post and could not get in. When I went in using the link in post #43, I got right in, and requested 4 seats. No problem at all. Keep trying, everyone.

YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY!!!!!

I convinced the wife we can afford this and we are going!!! Woohoo! First game I have been able to afford in a few years. I'm soooooo excited! Plus I got some friends to go so I just purchased 6 tickets!

I have never been one to talk bad about the Maloofs, but I just gotta say WOW! They have gone above and beyond what is expected to try and get people in the seats. I applaud their effort and I will reward them with my money. :)

Did I mentions $1 BEERS!?!?!?!?!?!?! WOW!

Edit: p.s Thanks 6th for your wonderful work!

Anyone have a link showing a detailed seating section? I would like to see if I got any isle seats but the link on Arco's page just shows sections now seats.

I just got 2 tickets!!!!!!!!! I landed two GREAT seats....Upper bowl, Section 215 (CENTER COURT) Row D seats 1 and 2......$20 BUCKS!!!!!!!!!

If they did this for every game they'd have a full arena....

PM me your sec, row, and seat #'s and I'll check for you.

They could do this for tickets and not have 1 dollar beer and sodas and not lose their arse.

At least until demand went up and then they raised tickets up some, but an empty arena is what will cause them to keep losing their rears.

I bought 2 this morning. Section 215 Row H seats 5 and 6. Thanks for setting this up 6th. All of you can feel free to stop by and say hi.

I think we should set up a thread the day of the game for people to communicate that have web access on their phones. We can tell each other where we are, let people know when we've arrived. even take pics. I would say use twitter, but I'm doubting everyone has a twitter account haha.

Let's just say half of the seats are in the upper deck so that is about 8,658 seats. Average price up there is what $40? so 8,658 seats x $40=$346,320 but if it is only $10 you only pull in $86,580. A difference of $259,740, spread that across 41 home games and you are losing over $10 million. Now I know we dont sell out the upper deck anymore so those figures are not concrete, just sayin. I am just trying to point out that NO, they cant do this all the time.

Just to quibble - I don't know the numbers of seats, etc., and am partially colorblind (which makes identifying seat costs a bear), but I think the average cost would be closer to $25. Lots of $25 seats and the $10 seats will bring down the cost of the $40 seats to closer to $30 on average, I would think.

And, as you stated, that is for a full arena. Right now they may be filling in say, 60% overall (10,000± out of 17,000± for round numbers). Assuming 50 % of upper deck seats (just for arguement) on a "normal" day at an average of $25 vs. a sellout at $10 each would be 8658/2*25 - 8658*10 or $21,600± per game difference in the upper deck. That is less than $900,000 for the season, and they could make lots more than that in beer sales and merchandise.

Just playing with some numbers..... :)

Edit - OK, so I forgot about the $85 (or whatever) seats. Would skew the numbers higher...... Point still stands, I think.

I'm not sure it does. 85 is 45 above 40, and 25 is 15 below 40. It's a much greater jump upwards, I think 40 is a good mid point between 10 and 85, so the initial figure is closer most likely.
