I received the following message. We want to fill the arena on 12/16. Deal of a lifetime, KingsFans. I will be posting a URL as soon as I get it, hopefully tomorrow night. I have already committed to doing a group for open distribution, so you pick best available seat in upper level and by getting through us, you can save on all convenience fees and print the ticket yourself. No standing in line at ARCO for tickets or will call.

ALL and yes I said ALL seats in the Upper Bowl for GROUPS of 20 or more are now priced at $10.

THE GROUP UPGRADE CAMPAIGN is included in this game and there are 8 groups of 50 available on a first come first serve basis. .

In addition to the $10 seats available to groups of 20 or more. At all ARCO concession stands BEER Water and soda will be $1

Spread the word….. the first 8 groups of 50 @ $10./seat will be upgraded to Lower Level!!

How will you know if you are in the first 8 groups to get into the lower level?

If it is iin lower level Id likely want to go. This is a great deal, even in upper level, but on a Wed night and I live 80 minutes from Arco, it would have to be lower level to make me do that mid week:)
 
I and two co-workers are going to go to the game - I will pick up three tix.

No clue! Unless we can get a lot of people jumping on this, and I'm going to post the URL on the board here which means anyone, including guests who do not sign in as members can link to it and buy tickets. The idea is to put on a good face for the nation. Time we, as fans, stepped up to the plate, and with this incredible offer, we could have a really great time for cheap.

I will say this, though. If people don't step up to buy tickets, we can't possibly get to the 50.
 
I think people are missing the point here. These are upper level seats for $10 which is a GREAT deal.

IF we happen to get 50 people to buy tickets as part of our group and IF we are one of the first 8 groups to do so then everyone is upgraded to lower level seats.

This is not a wait and see offer. Assume you're getting the upper level seats for $10. If the group does get upgraded and you were waiting to see it will be too late.
 
for clarification purposes, lower level as in lower level in the same section or lower level as in the bottom section?
 
Lower level refers to the bottom level. BUT, as JGar and 6th have pointed out, it's an UPGRADE, not an opportunity to buy the lower level seats. If you want to attend the game with the ridiculous price of only $10 per seat, GRAB THOSE TICKETS NOW! The offer is that if a group can get 50 tickets sold, they might be lucky enough to have everyone in their group upgraded to the lower level seating. BUT it won't happen unless they get 50 people in a group to buy the $10 upper level seats. And then it's gonna be the first 8 groups to sell 50 seats that will be eligible to move downstairs to be close to the action.
 
My decision will depend on how things go (not related to this group effort) so I might be down for 4 tickets. Where are we now in terms of a count?

Just for the record, this is the same person as "DocHolliday". I had this account from a few years ago, I'm having problems with my account, and VF suggested I try this account....and I am interested in this ticket deal.

If your in the lower bowl or the upper bowl, you should want to go to support the kings. Count me in. I'm just waiting for 6th to give us the link. :D
 
Count me in as well! $10 ticket and $1 for beer, water, and soda!? You'll NEVER see those prices at Arco! Everyone should go to support the Kings...they've earned being on national television! :D
 
Forget about the lower level, folks. Turn out to support the team. If you're hoping for the upgrade, you're hoping for a door prize... the offer is for $10 tickets in the upper level.
 
Has anyone gotten confirmation that this is official yet? I just received an e-mail from the Kings offering a free upgrade to the lower level for all upper level season ticket holders. Is anything else more than rumor at this point?

The deal as posted by 6th is totally legitimate. She's working directly with Maloof Sports and Entertainment. It has NOTHING to do with any offers MSE might be sending out to season ticket holders. We're trying to keep it simple instead of complicating the issue.

If anything, I suspect they're moving STH down into the lower bowl since they've already paid for seats so they can backfill with the $10 seats.

But again - this is a LEGITIMATE OFFER and not a rumor.
