Iggy's quotes

funsc

Bench
"Iguodala, a future all-star, didn't seem too concerned about any step up in intensity. This whole rookie season has been a kick, and going to the postseason is just one more thrill.

"Every night I go out there," he said, "I remind myself that I couldn't ask for a better job. It's been so much fun, every moment of it.""

This kid is awesome!

Got really torched a couple of nights ago by Vince. Makes you wonder a bit about his defensive rep.

Yeah but Vince could and has burned some of the best defenders in the league. Bruce Bowen repeatedly has problems with him that why he is always forced to go his bag of dirty tricks when he is matched up with Vince.

If ya ask me Iggy is a good defender and he IS just a rookie...he will get better

Imagine Igoudala with the Kings.

He was one of the guys I would have liked to ahve gotten back from the Sixers. Younger Doug Christie -- versatile, defensive minded, doesn't need shots. But like I say, maybe not. Philly has been a bad defensive team all year, and a lot of perimeter guys seem to light them up even with Dalembert back there.

True, but most Philly fans seem to indicate this is mainly due to O'Brien's coaching scheme. He is not flexible and has forced his team to do some pretty strange things like continuing to allow Marshall (I think?) of the Raptors to shoot uncontested threes when it was obvious he was on fire. They seem to have the players to be a good defensive team but just don't play that way. Then again one could say the same thing about some of the kings players too.
