If our Kings don't win tonight...

I've resorted to celebrating 10 minute winning streaks. That way, I get a least a couple cheers in during each game. Try it... it really helps. ;)

Spoken like a long-term Kings fan (just guessing) who supported this team through so many of those 20+ win seasons :)

... seasons many here probably never experienced!

Go KINGS!!!

Oddly those seasons really did not hurt that much. There was always some high draft pick to watch and scrutinize hoping for signs of development (which there rarely were given our horrible front office at the time). Constant trades to speculate about since you KNEW we needed to change things up (of course those rarely materialized either) and a lack of much disappointment since it was perfectly obvious we were going to suck. You watched games looking for moral victories and indiviudal accomplishments, and it was enough most of the time.

Well said. And honestly, for years I watched games to appreciate the quality opponents as well.

If the kings dont win tonight... Oh my tonight is a W LOL I said I felt a W last game but this time I really feel that W.

"Hey, we lost by less than ten..."

"We actually won - if the game had been only ________ minutes long!"

"Our players whose uniform numbers added up to less than 50 outscored their players whose uniform numbers added up to less than 50!"

If nothing else, we were a pretty creative bunch back then.

;)

We need to take it to this beat up houston team and BREAK THEM IN HALF... Yeah I know none of our guys have that killer mentality except Bonzi, BUT COME ON. We can just string together a couple W's and get near .500 and who knows what could happen? We just need to fight back. Have some confidence guys!

One game at a time, one quarter at a time, one possession at a time...

Let's hope they keep focus and intensity, and keep their mind on the NOW.

They do that, and they should win...

Well, and tying the Rockets' shoelaces together probably wouldn't hurt!

GO KINGS!!!!

Will it be possible to get our bigs rebound more then Bonzi? no offense I like Bonz but it makes me pissed more that a SG is outrebounding our bigs it doesn't make sense to me and until that issue is corrected I'm not sure what the Kings can do...

Is it wrong for me to wish for them to lose? I want to see some changes. This team is utterly horrible. First off get rid of Adleman. Hope they do it after tonight (if they lose)

It really isn't aldeman's fault alot of what we are seeing from the Teams poor play is a direct result of the moves that petrie made in the off season. The new players just don't fit into the system that the Team has in place. Bonzi, Raheem,Garcia are not princeton offense motion basketball move without the ball move the ball type of players,Bonzi get's rebounds hustles and is fearless but he doeasn't have the thinking mechanics to play the game the way that the kings play and any other Team he may suit up for,He's an empty minded player who you can count on to make mistakes and create chaos for his Team when the tough get's going.

Shareef is another player who doesn't fit the program he rather just play 1 on 5 and get everyone else out the way let him juke and shoot it up 21 hunch type of player. Shareef is a stat guy who belongs playing on Bad Teams and it just seems that he has a negative effect on the Team when it comes to winning games. Garcia is another who when I see him enter the has a negative effect on the game,The team was up 13 points when he came into the game and when he went out they were only up 4 or 6 points.

The leadership must come from the core players but it like to me they have allowed the negativity of the new players to disrupt the system of hoops that has been in place . Bonzi's forced post entry pass and shareef 1 on 5 turnovers were two turning points that I feel allowed the rockets to steal this victory. The core kings didn't step up and calm the situation

You know Gary, instead of asking for ADELMAN'S head after every game, maybe you should try and learn to spell the man's name who has coached us (very successfully) for the past 10 years.

I'd also love to hear how this loss is Adelman's fault.

AdELman is the coach. AdELman comes up with these beyond crappy sub patterns. AdELman does not have the players on his side or so it seems. Even if AdELman had the players on his side than you could chalk it up to bad coaching because this team has far too much talent to be losing like this at home none the less.

Usually in situations like this the coach is the first to go. So AdELman, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

As a fan I don't like the guy. Never liked him, and will be glad when he is gone.

Well if the game only went 3 quarters...we looked awesome & KINGS WIN!
Too bad it's a 4 quarter game...sigh. Missed free throws, turnovers, Technicles. 14 point lead, lose by 11? Down in the dumps at Arco tonight.

I agree with you, there's talent. What there is a lack of is chemistry. As good as players can be, if there is no chemistry on the floor, they'll lose. We have assembled a team where individual pieces do not fit. We are playing the Princeton offense, an offense where guys like Peja, Mike and Brad SHOULD excel. Bonzi Wells is not a princeton type player. Shareef is not a princeton type player. The majority of the guys coming off the bench are not princeton type players. What this team needs to decide is which way they want to go - with guys like Peja & Brad or Wells & Shareef. Geoff Petrie put this team together, Adelman's was to make the best ouf of the situation. It has become apparent that these guys have failed every possible expectation. I can hardly blame Adelman, and even if he was to blame for this fiasco, I don't see who's out there that can do a better job. So we fire Adelman, and then what ? We're probably worse off than we are already. If you have a good, functioning part of the team you try and hold on to it.
