I Wish The Kings Had Lost Tonight...

I wish they lost tonight, but won lost year when I went to the Kings vs. Blazers game last year at Arco. I live near Los Angeles, so it's tough to go to Kings home games, but I'm able to since my aunt and her family lived in Northern California. They moved to San Diego, but my aunts husband's family all lives their still.

Anyways, I went to the game on January 20th, 2004. It was when Kings were done by like 11 points with a minute left, and everybody started to leave, then the Kings made a run taking the game into overtime only to lose. I wish they had won that game and lost tonight.

That game last year was one of the greatest games I had ever been to at Arco, despite the eventual loss and the fact that half of the "fans" didn't get to see it from the parking lot. Miller's 3 was topped only by a waterpolo game here and rushing the court after we beat Arizona as my best experience at a sporting game.

That said, it doesn't mean we shouldn't have won tonight

sorry for your pain, I hate it when I get to go to a game and the Kings lose -- especially when it's a close game. That said, can't say I agree with you -- I was at tonights game & was VERY glad they won. Even if I hadn't been at the game, I can't quite buy off on trading a win this year for a game last year.... just doesn't make sense.

What?????

Dude, you don't ever wish for your team to lose. I'm sorry they lost when you went to see them but you don't really want to wish losses on them. Exactly how would that help the fact they lost last year?

I remember that game! Brad Miller hit a game tying 3 at the buzzer! They were down by like 11 with a min left. But then DA took over in OT and beat the Kings =-(

Since we are relating two things that really have no correlation (other than the fact that it's the Blazers) I wish we had lost tonight as well........ and won the championship last year.

just because they should have lost doesnt mean we need to wish it upon them. ;)

Was that the game where we blew the 20 point lead against the Blazers? I just remember how sick it made me feel. Felt like a depressing epiphany, it was when I realized the Kings were not a championship calibre team that year.
