I think Brad Miller will be traded!

Something tells me he will be gone either tomorrow on the rumored blockbuster trade or later on in the off-season. of course this is just a feeling but i think he will traded i just hope its a move that lands us a good big-man anyways does anyone else feel Brad will get traded soon?

What kind of player could we get back from him? Most of the players we proposed him to be traded for have been traded.

Yawn, yet one more trade Brad thread.

OK once again: For who? What Better center can the Kings get? Why would the GM of the reciving team trade for Brads contract?

OK I'm tired so I will stop for now before I type something I might regret.

The question is how in the hell would the Kings find a new center, yet somehow make a trade that would put the pieces to match the salary?

I think we could get a nice package for him from one of the Wizards/Hawks/Bulls.
Accepting a package of player for one good player is a quick way to lottery ;)

We moved Webber for a "package" and that hasn't exactly worked out great. Indiana moved Miller to us for a nice "package" but that also didn't work out for them.

We should be dead against trading a quality player for a "nice package". We should be looking to trade quality player for a quality player, not a "nice package" of mismatched pieces :(

Is there any possible way we could get an all star player to pair with Artest? We could then fill around them with roleplayers. Jeff Foster at center, who is effective without the ball offensively, could replace Miller if we can get a great player back through him in a blockbuster trade.

Brad shouldn't be traded.

What center would we use if we traded him? Brad/Bibby/Artest/MArtin are guys I want to see play together for a long time.

The all-star I'd want is Kevin Garnett, but that just isn't going to happen, although a starting frontcourt of KG/Foster/Artest would be a dream come true.

Brad doesn't need to stay. We got enough offense in the front court from Reef and Artest. I would like to see Brad get traded into a package of some sort that includes a defensive big and another player.

Me and you agree somewhat :) i do love Brad but i believe we need a defensive big-man and Brad does not provide that in anyway.

We should keep Brad. Without him our only legit outside shooter would be Bibby. We need his outside shooting to spread the floor. As bad as his defense is, our offense would be terrible without him. We need a PF who can block shots next to him.

I think its time for Brad Miller to move on. He doesn't seem motivated anymore, and is a huge defensive liability. You never know which Brad will show up every night, and he disappears in the playoffs. I just don't want to get back "movable pieces" for him.

Is your irrational hatred for Brad what's telling you? Because I think so. Brad is still top 8-ish in the NBA, and that caliber center is hard to come by, defense and offense both considered (hence why Brad isn't top 5 or 3). The only people who "feel" Brad is traded soon are those who dislike him. I, for example, "feel" like I'm going to win the lottery on thursday.

I'm concerned about defense, i'm sure most of us are this has nothing to do with "Hate" but i'm trying to make us better. bringing a defensive big-man who can defend & blockshots will make us better.

The better in me says "waxer don't reply, waxer don't do it..."

What are some of you people on? Seriously... Yes thats a great idea, trade one of the better centers in the league for a package of scrubs.

If Brad, Ron or Mike are involved in any trade we better be getting some serious value in return. Otherwise it's as Carolija (sorry cannot do that V thing on your name) said the quickest way to the lottery.

This isn't directed at the initial post its about the other posters that want to trade every piece until we are the Knicks. I have yet to see anyone come up with a realistic replacement that makes us better. Keyword is realistic, something another team would do.

IMO and as was said a few posts up, the best way is to get players that compliment Brad. KT alongside Brad is not a player to help strengthen Brads game. Thats how teams work. With very few good centers around the league you just don't dump one of the better ones because he cannot jump 1 foot off the ground.

I always have to repeat this every off season, first time this one.
You don't leave your lady until you have another one lined up;)

but the fact of the matter is lately miller has not been able to defend or play offense... his offense has been terrible lately and he is not a good post season player. he is not spreading the floor the way he has been shooting! we need defense!

Well if everything I've heard about EMuss is true, then he won't let him get away with bad defense as much as RA did. I say keep him this year, since there are no clear upgrades available anyway, and if it's clear he no longer fits with the team, move him out of Sacramento. That is if the Kings are even still here by then.

speaking of the kings moving out of sacramento... did anything good come out of the meeting in vegas yesterday?

I agree with BigWaxer 100%...Brad is a top 10 center and trading him for a "package" would only make us worse, doesnt matter if we get some scrub who could block shots or not, they could be had for alot cheaper
