I missed the second half of the game but... (DG & DC?)

Mista 808

G-League
Why did Donte have 3 blocks in the 1st Quarter but then get taken out for what looks like the entire rest of the game? Also, what happened with DC? He was looking really good in the first quarter and I see he only finished with 28 minutes when I saw him with 12 points in just the first half.

Someone fill me in!

Well, Donte tried to bail out Landry, who fumbled the ball around, with a last-second shot. Westphal would have none of that foolishness, so he pulled Donte out.

Lesson learned, Donte. Lesson learned.

Paul was so impressed by Casspi and Garcia's defensive efforts and exemplary shooting displays that he decided that there would be no need for Donte's services.

So I guess people who watched the entire game are just as clueless as myself? LOL

I personally am a big fan of DG. I think that when he's in the game the team just seems to play with more effort, more heart. I feel that he could easily be the voice in the locker room that the Kings could use, if coach would just simply give him more minutes. I know some of you dislike DG, but I swear, everytime I watch the Kings and they're doing well, he always seems to be out on the floor.

The kid hustles!

The minutes for Pooh were interesting and no one has explained the mystery of his half court shot with about 6 minutes left in the game.

i know we hit one half court shot but using that as a tactic would be a bit odd i think.

I wish DMC could have stayed on the floor for 38 minutes every night 'cause he's our best player this season.

He remembered that Nate Robinson used to be an undersized chucker before becoming a consistent player off the bench on a championship calibre team. He's trying to follow in ol Nate's footsteps. Just watch, he's going to start showing off his dunking abilities soon and make it in time to be invited to the Dunk contest
