If you love LA sports so much than go be a lakers fan. I HATE everything southern Cal. SFGiants, SF9ers, and Sacramento Kings, and Cal Bears. F LA. Seriously. If the kings or 9ers move to LA I'll vomit. It's the land of plastic surgery, stupid hollywood actors acting like they know anything about sports, where drama of a game is more important than the sports itself, LA is everything that's wrong with sports period.

lol... why do you dislike los angeles so much? whats wrong with plastic surgery? some of the women need it, though it doesnt help because its obvious that they had it done and their kids are always ugly. which leads to young girls wanting plastic surgery later on, or sooner than necessary. its like word of mouth but with boobs, lips and noses... the actors are cool too, ive met several in my life... only a few have been a-holes... but its understandable that they are a-holes... i wouldnt want a bunch of random people bugging me while i buy toilet paper or coffee... its funny when you meet some of the not so rich tv stars.... i used to live in the same apartment building as the one hit rapper skeelo(the "i wish i was a little bit taller" guy) he was broke all of the time. brian mcknight hangs out at the mall all day waiting for people to talk to him while his kids shop.

los angeles is cool, well its raining right now but still..... i met ice cube at a taco bell in tarzana once... did you know that tarzana was named after tarzan? how awesome is that? life imitating art... :D

When I'm leaving L.A. I always feel like I need a shower. No other city makes me feel like I've been breathing feces.

I hate L.A.

awww... los angeles is hella cool, nice weather, cute women, really good mexican food.... what more can you possibly ask for?
I lived in Orange County for 2.5 years right out of college at my first "real" job in my career. Couldn't wait to get back to Northern California. I went to the beach once that entire time.

I detested the smog and the traffic and smugness of the people there. I hate living in a crowded area - the constant, incessant noise, no places to park, annoying neighbors. Couldn't wait to get out to where I live now (house on 5 acres) where it is peaceful and quiet. :D I love being this close to Tahoe and SF - two places that are infinitely higher on my list than "LA".

You could ask for...

not the worst crime, not the worst education, not the worst traffic, not the worst pollution...just to name few.

Ironically enough I live in Los Angeles.

How about air you can actually breathe?

You're the one who started this, dude, contrary to your signature. I'm incredibly glad that you like LA. That doesn't mean we all have to like it.

OK...I'll chime in with some support for the Southland.

I grew up in the Northstate with a general dislike of Los Angeles. After college, I ended up living there for 4 years and I really did like it. Granted, I lived in Santa Monica...that's an important disclosure. But I really did enjoy my time there. I did end up moving back up here to raise a family and have a bigger house, but I do miss it from time to time. I think you have to live there for a good amount of time to truly appreciate it.

I lived there for over 33 years...I can appreciate it! Of course I miss it...family and friends live there.

Although I do have many wonderful friends that I consider family up here. :)

I've never lived in California, but I've been to Los Angeles twice (to catch some ball games when I was stationed in San Diego), and it was two times too many.

I wish I had four arms... so I could give Los Angeles four thumbs down!

LA is the land of fake. The people are too damn fake. Like Chris Rock said, everything about you is a lie. I have visited LA a few times, my best friends parents live in LA and his dumbass moved there for a year to try to take up acting. Every city in America has cute women, that is not reason enough to move there. Hell I used to sell ladies shoes at Nordstrom in Arden Fair and there was nothing but a slew of hot chicks who ran through that joint. Those were good days, young, in a suit, and nothing but hot chicks asking you how those shoes looked on them. And if you need any more you can just go to 'Frisco and satisfy your urge there.

Honestly, realistically, and truthfully, you are a Laker sufferer. It's ok, my sister is the same thing and I still love her. Even though like you, whenever the Kings and Lakers play she is rooting for the Lakers. I bet you cheered when Horry hit that shot. Your hating on Tyreke only leads me to believe that while you want to see the Kings be exciting (Rubio) and win some games, you (like every other Los Angeline) don't want to see the Kings do better than the Lakers. It's ok, you can keep that to yourself because to admit it would basically get you ostracized. It's just between you and I, k?

So I hope you enjoy living there in the land of the fake, because like them I see you as a fake Kings fan. You would like to see them be just like the Warriors, flashy and exciting, score a lot of points, maybe even upset a team your Lakers wouldn't want to face in the playoffs. But the bottom line is when push comes to shove you are pulling for your LA team over anything and everything, and Tyreke threatens that.

BTW, how was the championship parade last summer?

After reading Aries' posts for a few years I actually have to say I agree with this. The guy never says anything negative about Phil, Kobe, Lakers, etc. He always has one gripe or another with our best player, either "they're not good enough at this, they have a bad attitude, I can't root for this player because XYZ, we need to lose more games" etc. He's really a lakers fan IMO.

He's a Lakers SUFFERER. Its to cliche for him to just be a fan, so he chose another team that is exciting and fun to watch. But deep down inside, he is from LA, and who could really root against their home team? You can't do that, all of your friends are die hards and can you seriously, living and breathing LA, tell your friends that you wanted the Kings to win? Can you actually sit around with your friends and CHEER for the hated QUEENS during the playoffs when they met? You'd be kicked out, no more beer would be offered, the j would skip you, it'd be a disaster. So I don't blame him, I just wonder why, if he hates the team's new superstar so much and the direction the team is going, why is he still here. It's almost sadistic in a way....

Living in LA is "hella" (That's a Norcal slang btw) overrated. First off, Aside from a select few spots only the elite celebs and business people live; LA is pretty ghetto. It stinks, has tons of gangs, bums, junkies, tweakers, crackheads and polluted air. Most of the people there aren't even originally from there. The people who go live there are some of the most moronic, egotiscial and arrogoant among all the cities in Cali,That's why theres so many fakes and bandwageners there.

If I were to move to a Socal city, I'd move to San Diego...now that place is beautiful and nothing like LA.
