How was Christmas?

Hey everybody! I had a great Christmas.... guess what......I got LEAGUE PASS!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy and I got a Mike Bibby home jersey! Anyway, enough about me, how was yall's Christmas?

Mine was good. I got money, I like money...some socks, pajama pants, undies, snacking goodies, some gift cards to safeway/round table pizza, and some more clothes.

just another day .. for the first time in my entire life. I did get money and clothes but it doesn't feel the same anymore since my parents divorced and my grandfather died :-| gifts are nice but family does matter

i got a dvd player, surround sound, NHL 2005, ESPN Baseball 2K4, some pajama pants, $50 Champs gift certificate, some clohtes and shoes.

well, for the 2nd straight year for me, it's just another day again.. eversince i came here in the states, it's definitely not the same.. i miss my family and friends back home.. and my grandpa died, too..

i did get lots of kings stuff again (bibby bear, jacket, pants, webber retro jersey, webber allstar jersey, keychain, etc --someone got a little too happy at the nba store).. but it doesn't really matter.. i'm happy i got them but i actually wanted money so i can save to go back home.. i only got a few bucks.. so oh well..

Just another day for me too. The package from my family has not arrived yet and not being with my family, especially with my mom being ill, made it not so good.

Christmas was great. Bought my sibs a PS2 so I could play NBA 2K5 with my bro. (I was FINALLY convinced to get one when I played with my officemates...) I got a 1GB flashdrive from my parents.

The best thing that happened throughout the holidays was when I went shopping for my family and friends with my hard earned salary. It feels good to be getting people stuff.

I got some good stuff this year, I actually made out for once! Being the mom and wife means I am in charge of all purchasing of gifts for others, I rarely think about what I may or may not receive. But I asked for specific items this year (this really helps others, I found). So...I got my slippers with soft soles and gel wrist rest for my keyboard! I also got a couple of pieces of lead crystal (heart shaped dishes, I love hearts) and my favorite scent--Chantilly. I know it's cheap (!) but it smells so wonderful and I've been wearing it since I was 16! Oh yea, some weird pajamas too, and a wooden purse. Oh, and I bought myself some really neat clothes while I was shopping, bad, bad, bad (((slaps own hand, hehehehe))) Heck, I hardly ever go shopping, must take advantage of being in the store, right? Anyway, we bought my kids a trip to L.A./Las Vegas for Christmas & New Years, so will be quite around here for awhile...

My family Christmas hasn't happened yet. I'll be seeing kingsgirl4, little princess and my son-in-law (who oddly enough doesn't have a board name yet) in a couple of weekends.

and some other stuff that I really wanted. But the BEST part was being able to spend the morning w/my kids and the rest of the day playing with my neice...she was officially 14 weeks old on the 25th. She giggles soooo cutely...

this was a really hard christmas for me.

my mom got out of the hospital. it was a really tough day, we didn't cook a big dinner, no family ( just mom, step dad and myself, usually it's all the family gathering at grandmom's house) i was in *SUCH* a bad mood. i woke up and was all alone, i just turned on the pacers/pistons game and just sort of stared blankely at the screen. i didn't have breakfast ( the idea of eating costco galric bread for the 7th straight day was too much for me NO WAY!) so i called my dad who was also alone, and that was nice.

since my mom had been in the hospital for most of the month, she didn't really have anything for me to open, just 2 van gogh replica's ( which i LOVED!!!!) i also had a few early presents ( SI subscription, star wars trilogy on DVD) and my freind might by me a peja home jersey, that would be AWESOME!

i got so moody, i was snipping at everything both of them said when they *finally* got home ( 3rd QT of the lakers game) and it was really tough, it was the first christmas with out grandmom.

but i got over it. we watched home alone 2 and that got me in a better mood. it turned out being an OK day. it was so nice having my mom finally at home after nearly a month in the hospital.

thanks for the hug

she's doing a little better. she still gets sick when she eats, but that will get better as she learns what she can and can't eat. it's all trial and error at this point in time.
