I think there is another component to this playoff series. Part of it is that most fans don't expect them to win a title this time, so there is less to root for.
But part of it is most of us don't feel any real 'gotta beat em' attitude towards Seattle. It's not like the Lakers or Mavs where they are the enemy.
We want to beat them, but in many ways don't mind that they win, as long as they do it by beating someone else.
