How hurt IS Peja.

Anyone who has had a lower back problem in their lifetime knows that it's no joke and it does limit movement and causes a lot of pain. Unfortunatly for Peja he is hurt during the season and his team is playing like a floating turd in a sacramento mobile home park driveway.

If Peja was 100% healthy his numbers would reflect his true ability. Maybe he needs to play international ball during the summer. His non BB activity this last offseason really screwed him.
Thats another thing I have been wondering myself. Every time Pedja had off-season duties with his national team he came back and played well during the season. When ever he took the summer off he has struggled through the year.

Coincidence?????? I think not.

Yeah he had a whole country voting for him (See Yao Ming)
you don't have to be good just popular in your country. So with so many americans in the NBA guess what the U.S. gets split into many players for voting purposes. Some even for Yao and Peja and Dirk..ect..
Oh please what a load of crock.

Tell me the population of Serbia and Greece and then we will talk. If anyone was to get to the All-Star games because of their home country voting then it would have been Vlade Divac. There is no bigger name and there will never be a bigger name than Vlade Divac in Serbia.

Going by your logic, Vlade would have 12 All-Star Appearences to his name

A caller on 1140, someone that has a well placed source said that Peja returned to Sac today to take a physical. DO NOT SHOOT THE MESSENGER :D , please. That is what the caller said.

And the rumor was shot down in flames a few hours after. When Grant Napear stated he was talking to Peja on the plane to Philly an hour or 2 before. Its a 6 hour flight so unless peja has a spaceship, It certainly wasnt him getting a physical.

Many of you guys dont know what you are talking about...

Peja could be MVP candidate this year too if it wasnt for many things that have gone bad this year....it has nothing to do with his skills...When i mean the many things , i mean injuries, the new teammates that takes time to adapt too, new system that he also has to adapt too...I also think there are big personal problems with his wife..I have many friends in serbia that are reading in newspapers how he has troubles with keeping on to his woman, that they doesnt speak for long periods and he is deeply affected by it..But that has been in serbian papers for a year now, so thats nothing new...Thing is that after this thing came up he did actually began to play little different..You can never trust news papers, especially the serbian, but if its true than i understand this might have been one of the factors...I think there are alot of things that is bothering Peja emotionally and in the sorroundings on the team, but i think but he and Kings will do fine...we are not so far from the 0,5 record and once we are up there the team will play much better...

I still dont think this season had been so bad for Kings...Nba is 82 games!I said it before the season began and i will say it again:

Its alot better that the team losses alot in the begining and the things seam little out of control and than before playoffs get some huge winning streaks, than just win alot in the begining and cool off cause you have secured a playoff spot and finish season badly before the playoffs...

So i think everything is going great...Once we are on the 0,500 than the team will show its value and i also hope peja will get old peja again, and forget about problems, whatever it is, the little hurting in his finger, personal problems, difficulty in knowing the new team mates on and off the court , the new style of play....Basketball is not only about skills , alot of menatal and enviromental things are playing a big role in this sport....This does not only acount for Peja but every other basketball player....

And yes Charolija ...

It seams its important for him to play for national team to get a good season...

Personally i think this has nothing to do with him learning anything much about basketball with serbian team....His skills doesnt improve anything here!

The reason is something else, dont know , naybe he takes it to hard on himself when he decides not to play...The serbian media has been critisizing his decision alot, this can alsp have an effect...Who knows?

well, that is one thing we haven't had to worry about this season!;)

And, yes, it'd be great to go on a huge winning streak, but so far we haven't put together more than 3 wins in a row, and that includes the time when we were relatively healthy. Now we are banged up and struggling.

You forgot the third option which is completely possible at this point... be so ineffective/inconsistent that you miss the playoffs completely....
