how are the nuggets 7-5? so are the grizzlies..... the mavs are 7-2 and the kings are 2nd to last in the conference..... granted we are only 1 1/2 games behind 8th seed seattle..... but still..... damn.....

PHP:

1. Look at our schedule compared to theirs.

2. With the exception of a few teams, they are teams that have been together and already know eachother fairly well.

We have a lot of new players to integrate into a fairly complex system. We also haven't had the easiest schedule to get them started off with. But in the end, I think the tough shcedule will be a good thing, because now these guys have a good idea of where they are, and where they need to be.

1.The Nuggets are a good team
2.The Nuggets are better than the Kings
3.The Mavericks are a good team
4.The Mavericks are better than the Kings
5.The Kings "still need more time" as the official party line goes

i thought we had an easier beginning schedule and ended with the tough part. this can't be good.

thats what i was thinking.... outside of the spurs and pistons, we had a pretty easy schedule so far.... hornets, denverX2(won one), kincks, sonics... we shouldnt have lost those games......

Those teams are better than us... but we are playing better, whatever that's worth.

How can it be? Well,...
  • The team has been completely blown apart and put back together in the last two years.
  • The Kings let go of more talent than they picked up.
  • The other teams mentioned are playing better basketball.
  • The first two weeks of the Kings' season were just plain ugly.
  • The team is in the process of reinventing themselves.
Did you really want reasons? 'Cause I could keep going.

How much could you possibly have expected from this team, as it stands, this year?

i understand the problems.... but losing to denver, the hornets, sonics and knicks was inexcusable......

losing house after trading bobby was kinda like phoenix trading qrich for someone they need then losing johnson.... but atleast they got diaw..... too bad we couldnt get anyone like that for our bench....

obviously not being a Kings fan I don't know these things but, could it be partly the coaches fault too? Is Adelman's style getting old? AND don't forget, this is not the same Kings that we came to know from the early part of this decade.

Here we go with House again... we didn't lose him, we let the guy go. We easily could of agreed to a deal all through-out July. We didn't and instead signed Hart which was and is a better choice for back-up PG IMO. If you mean scoring? Obviously House would get the nod. But I think Hart's offense will pick up as time goes on and he develops within the team, which he is in the process of doing (he's said it himself a couple times). As his offense was never this low with Charlotte (starting or not).

B-Jax - we got Bonzi Wells, and B-Jax was too much of a liability with his injuries. Mo was basically going to leave at this point (changing his mind for more money and a multi-year deal), and we would of had SK starting at SG.

About getting a spark for our bench, I think we will.
