OK. hate me, but I gotta ask. How bad are we gonna be whooped on Tuesday night? With four of our starters out or reduced to walking-wounded, how bad is this Phoenix game gonna be?

I expect a whoopin on the order of 25+ points.....but, I would love to be pleasantly surprised. I am reminded of the early Kings days in Sacramento. A single digit loss was a moral victory. With the raucousness in ARCO, you'd have thought we won the game.

Edit: now that the poll is up....I chose 30 pts.

Mike will play and if he doesn't it has to to be really bad

Our best shot is to bring them down to our "suck" level and beat them with experience (after all we suck for a reason)

The suns did not get a good chance to scout the line-up we are putting up against them. I think the element of surprise and confusion will help a motivated Kings bench defeat the Suns.

sure - I wouldn't scout Hart, Garcia, Corliss KT and the rest either. Why waste time ?

Okay ... so it's vs Phoenix

Won't be the first time and MOST DEFINITELY won't be the last time we'll been humbled.

... in the teens

It's the Phoenix Suns. For some odd reason, we do pretty well against them. And, I personally and seriously believe we will win this one.

We get beat by 68 points...but only because Price, Corliss, and Sampson are the only guys who bother to show up.

OK...we lose by 22.

THEY will WIN IF....
Francisco and Kevin BOTH play well....Especially Special K on D -He needs to put pressure on Raja Bell...Fransico needs to stay spotted up and start shooting the lights out like he does in practice....I think the Marion - Thomas matchup will be neat to watch both quick and undersized although I think Shawn has the clear advantage on quickness and REBOUNDING...but you never know. The main concern is Bibby possibly not being 100% (or not playing)...He usually steps up his game against Nash....It wouldnt surprise me to see Brian Skinner getting decent minutes to keep this team athletic but Brad really does have a great Offensive game and he is the guy that Runs our Offsensive...NO HALF COURT GAME HERE--If we try we die...Lets run with those boys on the court and see what we can do.....Because we either are gonna keep it close and win or we will get blown away...

I don't know. Hope we win, but it will be tough as ALL games are going to be right now. How many teams in the league can lose 3 starters and expect win almost any night? I just hope they do their best.

GO KINGS!!!

If the Kings had a full and completely healthy roster, including Peja, Bonzi, Rahim, and Bibby, we would have a good chance. We don't, and we don't.

Bibby's tank must be empty. We will face the highest scoring team in the League with a starting line-up of Bibby (if we are lucky), Kevin, Cisco, Thomas, and Miller. We have a weak bench and tired players. This will be an ugly game. It will not be 30 points because the Phoenix coaches will pull their starters at half-time.

Adelman may be fired for the humiliating loss. Of course, the loss will be deemed to be his fault.

If Kevin and Cisco score 50 points and pull 20 rebounds between themselves, and the Kings scrape out a win, the boys need to run for the Sacramento City Council in a special election.

I'm guessing that this will be a close one, if only because getting blown out would be too predictable and the Kings just don't do predictable this year.

There is some perverse logic in that assessment.

Probably because a lot of people don't utilize the "closing date" option and the system default is three days after the poll has been started.

A couple things that bother me about this game...

We have given up over 100 points the last 10 games at home. Of those 10 we won 4.

Will the Suns play to our level? I hope so but I don't think they will. They have only lost 4 games out of there last 15. They scored over 100 pts 13 of those 15 games.

Thats a bad recipe for disaster. Just trying to be realistic here, No Peja possibly no Bibby and if there is a Bibby how well is he going to be? Also this month Bibby has followed the pattern of great scoring game followed by the next game being a disaster. Brad is going to have to score damn near 40 pts for us to be in it. Maybe this game is big enough that Martin drops a 30 spot for us.

One thing is for sure we are going to need scoring and lots of it. I am afraid that unless all of our guys pull off a career night we just don't have the firepower to match the suns. We have 3 staters out at the same time which would cripple most teams and we are no exception.

We are going to win.

FEEL IT.
THINK IT.
SEE IT.
BELIEVE IT!

OK, so I recently attended a conference for elementary and middle school teachers.:o But I still say we win!
