Garcia with the block. Nasty. Pargo was left in hangtime while everyone was on the other side of the court.

I say, if the Hornets aren't good enough to handle a team with a losing record, they don't deserve to be #1 seed. Even if it is over the Lakers.

Lakers fan here..

I admire your team for not mailing it in, and playing hard till the end. You guys will be back fighting at the top of the west soon with that heart. Good win.

we won because we are retarded not because we played hard and wining this games won't help us get back anywhere

I don't know why people are still complaining about the wins, we wouldn't move up or down had we lost tonight...we are where we are in the draft now and it won't be moving.

AWESOME WIN!!!

We have two guys out of the starting line-up including our best scorer. We only have a 19 year center with no back-up. We really have nothing to play for and NO has everything to play for. They are one of the best teams in the league.

What the heck, let's play are arses off and beat them. Gotta love it.

There is no quit on this team and it starts with Reggie. Way to keep 'em playing hard Reg!

note: lovin' what I am seeing from Cisco and Hawes lately.

Ah...the icing on the cake. Thanks from a Lakers fan.

We love you guys! *Sniff!* :o

As much as it hurts for future purposes, it was great to see all the young guys get some minutes. Garcia is FINALLY showing some promise. If anything we can take from this game, it's the signs that Garcia may be ready to take the reigns from Artest. Confidence comes and goes yeah, but it was a big win for the young guys.

You forgot to mention that we have a player who picks and chised which games are suitable for him to play

But it's so noble to win these games. As Reynold's said, it's not professional to go out there and not try your darnest to win (I think he must not like Miami). Now I'm just waiting for the all the disclaimers (gag me) about our future draft pick because of our 13th slot.... Can't wait for that draft...

You have to give Petrie credit though - he built this team for mediocrity, and he got exactly what he planned. Now, the icing on the cake will be the mediocre draft pick.

Thanks man. Show's class that you took the time to register here for just a few kind words. This win wasn't exactly what us Kings fans were hoping for, but you're right that it showed heart.

Question...

Why do teams that are up by three points with ten seconds to go or less always choose to just play defense, and hope the other team misses the open 3 pointer that they always seem to get? The Kings were up by 3, and NO nearly made that 3 pointer at the buzzer to send it into overtime. 40% of the time Peja makes that 3, if the Kings foul, there is probably a 70-85% chance that the Hornets make the first free throw, and then a 5% chance of them intentionally missing the shot, getting the rebound and a put back to tie. I'll go for the 95.75% chance to win any day over the 60% chance...Is that decision on Reggie Theus, or the young guys he was playing on that final sequence?

I know that the Kings won the game, but going by the probabilities, it is a no brainer that the team should always foul in that situation, and not allow any shot to be attempted...:mad:.
