Well it looks like the Lakers and the Wolves will make NBA history.

Never in NBA history have both of the Conference Finals teams missed the playoffs the following season.

Lakers are long gone from playoffs.

Wolves are just a couple wins/losses away.

Who woulda thunk it at this time last year...

hmm...the only "expert" I can think of who actually called for us to miss the playoffs was Steve Kerr, but those quotation marks around expert are well earned in his case.
