Here Comes Seattle

Given that ***ing Danny Fortson is on that team. I have absolutely no problem hating them. I smell 1.85 technical per game on Garbage during this series.

I wish you luck guys... also to ourselves. I was actually hoping to see you in the WCF. We would meet Houston in the first and SA in the second. You guys would meet Dallas in the first and then Suns in the second. But it is what it is.

I really am not sure who the favorite is in this series, but like you wish for your team, I wish we get to the second round. It would be an amazing season for us if that happens.

PS: Sorry I was not able to write over the last two weeks. Both my wife and my two month old were very sick and I had to take care of them + work. So many sleepless days...

I actually saw you once posting to our board on RealGM to congratulate us (I posted just once there, but try to follow it as well). So, I know you are civil already ;). Can I even say that you have a crush against Seattle?? :D

i got a good feeling Corliss is gonna do something stupid, such as knocking Ray Allen out...heres to hoping anyway:D

when do we find out for sure? Trying to figure out if I need to cancel my plans for April 30... I should know better than to make plans this time of year!

Ray Allen 34 and gocmen, good luck for good health to your guys. Hopefully, we will have some of our guys back as well.

Seattle legitimately won their division, so I am certainly not taking them lightly. I just hope for some good basketball, and if the Kings are able to get past Seattle, I will be thrilled.

I'm going to go with some civility as well here. Good luck all you sonics fans on the board.

I like our chances much better against Seattle than I did against any of our other potential first round opponents. One thing is for sure, it should be an exiting series.

I am not looking forward to Danny Fortson. That man is a punk. Corliss could give him some what for. I would like to see that. Just knock him right on his ***.

We have a shot here guys. We just have to buck up and play basketball.

Well, everybody seemed to want this, and here we are, although I don't like how we got here. I'm just glad I don't have to sit through another Dallas series...I don't think I can dislike them any more than I already do. We have a legitimate shot against Seattle. They are the least experienced team in the entire playoffs, and that's a big plus for us. I like our chances, but any time you have to win with 4 out of 7 played in a hostile environment, it's a tough road. It'll come down to an Allen vs. Peja shootout, I fear...and I don't know who would win that one.

We pose a matchup problem for Seattle IF we are healthy.. Healthy meaning Brad, and Peja play. :D I am looking forward to taking 1 of 2 in Seattle, and both here, finishing in either 5 or 6.

And the same to you guys, hopfully both teams have everyone available. I actually don't see us beating you If we don't have radman. He is so key to our long range shooting. They say he may not be ready for game 1 but should be ok the rest of the way

good luck guys

I would say "hope for a clean series" but with Danny around I don't think thats a safe bet.

Good luck Ray34. Believe it or not, I'm glad we pulled the 6th seed. I'm tired of playing Dallas, seeing Cuban's mug, some of the mavs fans are...heh. Also, it will be short travel for both teams. It should be a great series.

Seeing Corliss and Danny going at it should be a hoot.

I just want to see good basketball. I think I speak for everyone hear when I say I want to see a clean series with no obvious last-second goaltending non-calls (specifically, and bad calls in general) and everyone healthy. I just want to see 2 teams battle it out and leave it all on the floor. I am sick of losing games on blown calls and ugly fouls. All I am asking for is good basketball and good refs making good calls. Just give me a good series no matter who wins.

Aw, who am I kidding on the last sentence..... GO KINGS! :)

It's nice to see the Sonics getting their guys back, it'd be even better to see the same for the Kings. Obviously, the Sonics deserve to be favored, but I think the Kings can and will win this series. Experience matters, which is something the Sonics have very little of. It's a good thing that not that much is expected of the Kings, to roll in under the radar. I just hope the Peja's groin doesn't hamper him too much. If the Kings can get Peja type games out of Peja, I think Bibby's ability to hit clutch shots will be the deciding factor in several close games.

Kings in 6.

I just talked to my brother in Seattle. He bought a couple of seats to game 2 for $20 each!

It's cheaper to fly up to Seattle to watch the games then to get a ticket here.

Only trick is that you've got to buy tix at the Seattle box office.
