I don't care if he says bucket, books or keep in in the ledger.

Our announcers are some of the worst in the NBA. I'm usually relieved when we've got opponent announcers because you usually get to hear an unbiased game ... and you don't have to hear the cringeworthy "Bibbilicious" or my favorite ... when they yell a players name all excited-like only to see that player miss.

this has got to be the dumbest thread ever and there have been many to chose from
Shame on you, piksi...

You KNOW you should never challenge "dumbest" or "ever" and you did both in the same thread.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I can't even imagine what might happen...

Okay, that's a lie. Having just done a bit of housekeeping, I'm well aware of what could ... and did ... happen.

He does say bucket. But that doesn't mean he doesn't also say book - I've just never heard him say that. And I do watch every single game.

He says BOOK. But, listen to yourself carefully as you say "book and." Depending on his enunciation as he is saying the next word after book, there are those who (on that occasion) could think they heard the word bucket. :p
Heh, you have a very valid point. I will check it out tonight... provided there is a reason for him to say it.

Ummm... I really don't think there is debate on this one. Perhaps someone can email him to verify, but it is almost certainly always "book". That is the phrase he uses. Whether he flubs it or rushes it, he is still always trying to say book.

...

And he does add the "and" on to the end of "book", then pause before starting with "send him to the line", so it really does sound like a two syllable word.
