Help! Blackouts!

I HATE these stupid blackout dates. I live in VA, not Washington, I don't care how close they are.

My problem is that the game isn't coming on the regularly televised channel, but NC8, which I have NO idea where to find it.:confused:

Does anyone live in this area who can help me out so I don't have to miss my Kings?
 
If nobody can help, you might try going to your "cable provider?" website and see if you can find out on which channel NC8 is broadcast.
 
Naw, it's NC8, and I just found out it means News Channel 8, and it is only shown in Washington DC, which isn't fair because I live on the VA/NC border and can't get DC's news channels. It shouldn't be blacked out here, it isn't fair.
 
SacTown welcome to my world. I live in Philly and cannot watch a Sixers game unless it's on ABC, or TNT. I'm not a Sixers fan but my dad is and he won't buy LP because every Sixers game gets blacked out regardless since we don't have Comcast cable. No LP also means no Kings. :( And no Sixers means no Webber. We have direct tv. And its not even our fault because West Philly is the only part of the city that doesn't get comcast cable. It sucks becuz they even black out the games that come on NBA tv. You think they would be considerate of us because of the cable situation. But no. That's just the way it is.
 
:( Yup, that does suck.

I'm really upset now, especially since Mike had such a good game that I had to miss it. This whole Black-Out thing is so stupid. What would it hurt showing the game on NBALP too?

I can only watch the Wednesday Wizards game, and I was actually going to go to the game today (wouldv'e been my first) but I acted to slow and the seats I wanted got taken.:(
