^ LOL, Dave Chappelle. U kno what gets on my nerves..the guy from the ying yang twins who makes that dumb noise all the time. I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about. The whole time they were on cribs he did it. It was hella annoying

Did you ever see the 2004 BET Awards...Mo'nique was the host and whats his name from the Ying Yang Twins kept saying it in the audience and you could hear him (even watching it on TV) and Mo'nique says to him "What is that?" and he does it again and she's like "Spell it" oh man I was rolliin...everyone was...and then she was like "ladies please take your birth control" funny stuff..

My friend (from Southern California): "That must have been a helluva traffic jam on the 101 to make you this late."

It's hella crazy, but whenever I try to stop saying "hella", I can't think of a more appropriate word to put in its place. I don't know how anybody outside of NoCal ever gets their point across.
First, I'm down here in SoCal and I've never heard helluva before. Maybe one hell of a, but not helluva. There are many words to replace "hella", try using the actual word it replaced. It is "hella" easy. Just say "it is really easy". It's hella cold>>>>>>>>>>It's very cold. Frequent users of "hella" have been known to suffer A.L.S. (Adjective Loss Syndrome) later in life.

LMAO! I don't even remember that. I must have missed that part. I'm still hoping the 2005 one re-aires sometime bc I missed that too. Well I saw some of it but not all of it. I always miss the good stuff!

It's showing again on Tuesday at 7:30. I missed the first hour and a half, but I always get the end. But yeah, I heard all the good performances and stuff were all at the beginning.

Should replace "Hella" to "Hell to the No" according to Whitney Houston. :D

That Bobby Brown's show is like a trainwreck, yet I still watch it if there is nothing better on TV that day. LOL

^My dad said that show was hella funny....well he didn't really say "hella" but in the spirit of the thread...

I've tried at absolutely ALL cost to avoid that show...I know eventually I'm gonna end up seeing an episode and than making sure I see all the rest of the episodes thereafter

thanks IheartBrad. I just saw the commercial for it on tv today too. I'll be tuned in on Tuesday. And oh my goodness, Being Bobby Brown is too funny. They are so embarrassing out in public. I feel bad for their little girl LOL she's always embarrassed and annoyed. I'm hella mad I missed it tonight! I forgot all about it..I had company *rolls eyes* Iheartbrad, you must watch it! lol

Apparently the Smurfs suffered from an advanced case of A.L.S. Of course, Smurf was often used as a replacement noun or had -ily added to it to replace adverbs as well. I'm afraid this is the extreme of what could occur with the word hella. Please take appropriate precautions and continue to spread awareness.

As an aside, we actually got the word "smurf" and all its variations banned from our junior high school in 8th grade. I forget whose idea it was to substitute it for obscenities and other banned speech but it caught on quickly and was subsequently outlawed. Probably a good thing too; it was running out of funny at that point.

It really is, but it's so funny. The good thing about missing an episode is that they always repeat them before the new episode comes on, even if you missed two in a row bc they show two old ones before every new one. Then after the new one they show old episodes again/repeat the one that just came on

From Family Guy:

Smurf #1: Hey, did you have a good time last night?
Smurf #2: Smurf-tacular!
Smurf #1: Yeah, I saw you leave with Smurfette.
Smurf #2: Oh man, as soon as we got out of the bar, she started smurfing me.
Smurf #1: Shut the Smurf up!
Smurf #2: Yeah!
Smurf #1: Right in the Smurfing parking lot?
Smurf #2: Smurf-Yeah!
Smurf #1: Oh! That is freaking Smurf!
