Heat @ Kings Game Thread

Why is Peja taking the most shots on this team when his injured hand is not allowing him to shoot accurately?

The Kings' defense is so bad that they must have at least four of their starters playing at high level offensively in order to beat the other team.

They are not in any position to kill any body. They have been fighting an uphill battle all night long. It is only a matter of time when the Heats turn it up and slay the Kings for good.

There's nothing more frustrating as a fan than watching the other team "spit the bit" and your team simply won't take advantage.

maybe miller shouldnt rebound the ball.... he has 14 and we are losing.....

The Kings lost because
1) bad defense
2) Peja took too many shots (he probably read this board and was trying to prove us wrong)
3) SAR has a subpar game.

their defense wasn't that bad in the 4th. no one could hit a shot. another lousy performance.

miami had 20 turnovers and still win by 10:mad:

how many times did this team get blocked? peja got ripped on a 3 thats when you know you have bad luck.... oh well.... at least bibbys assists and miller rebounding were up... thats something to look forward too for next game...

I've been impressed with Miami's ability to continue to play at a relatively high level without Shaq. Wade is the real deal as far as super stars go, and despite the fact that the Kings arguably have the better offensive talent in their starting lineup, the Heat know their roles on both ends of the floor, and certainly have better balance. It showed tonight, imho.

Quite a disappointing loss.

Where the hell was Skinner and Corliss? Back to Skinner's Philly days.... millions of dollars just sitting on the bench for both.

At least Wade didn't put up 40 or something :). He's so good though, I love 'em. Alonzo was a beast as ever.

Just going to try and move on from this game...

Rick has a thing against athletic and defensive minded players.

I'm usually a Peja homer, but he played about 5-6 minutes too long in this game. He wasn't horrible, but he's got to make some of those layups. Can't blame that on your 5th metacarpal..

Don't see why Skinner can't play in there w/ Brad or SAR...

Obviously, the Rick doesn't like him or Corliss. I am starting to think that Rick will not play Ben Wallace (assume that he is on the Kings) more than 20 minutes per game because he can't shoot.

I liked Garcia/Bonzi/Brad/KT (jesus, did he get blocked though ;) )/Bibby (most of it, didn't like some of his shots). Bonzi getting a few blocks is badass, and didn't realize Brad got 15 boards! More 9-10+, less of this 5-6 board stuff please! :) Good to see Bibby get a high assist count w/ 9, that's gotta be there more (at least 5-8).

I still think we should get a spark/scorer addition for the bench.

If Ben Wallace was here you better believe Rick Adelman would have already been long gone. This team you see now is the team Rick Adelman put together. While I think that this team can play much better on both ends, I just don't see any drive. Sure they play D in the final moments but that isn't enough.

We needed a shot-blocker on the floor tonight, the problem is....

WE HAVE ONE!

I was at the game and Wade/Zo drove too many times to through the lane.

SOME, PLEASE! Some, interior defense!

Yes, we all know theres not enough minutes to go around but please Rick, just play Skinner when we need him, the guy doesn't need consistent minutes!
