Webb's jumping is fine now. His blocks and rebounding are up and he dunks twice a game or more. He'd have trouble with quicker forwards like Odom (who's back at the 4) because he's slow laterally. But if Odom misses, Webb is much better than either Miller or Shareef for securing the defensive rebound. I don't think there should be any doubt we'd be better with Webber. We were doing well this time last year with him and he's even better now. Our rebounding might even be decent with him and Wells. And then there's the stuff he does on the offensive end.
Anyways, it doesn't matter who we get to do it, we need consistent rebounding from our bigs. Make a trade or go to the bench more. And shot-blocking might be nice too. Bigs don't just defend other bigs, they also defend the lane against guards. So taking that into account, Shareef and Miller just aren't getting it done. It's like a revolving door down there.
Brad did well on the boards this game, but overall, he's way below his averages for boards and blocks. I think Webb has as many blocks as him and Shareef combined.
