naw, the maloofs thought we had a team. heck, after seeing that impressive half season i thought we had a team too. we nearly upset the spurs remember? they were the ones to beat and we had a team that could contend w/ them. shortly after that .. the screws came loose on the tru warrior after the amazing playoffs.. started talking about retirement then championship then retirement. screwed up our chances on getting a higher draft pick.

now that we take off the purple glasses, we had bonzi and adelman that season we were going to pull a GS warriors 1st round upset.

it's frustrating being a kings fan in 08.

If the Kings were to build around Artest, and become a half court team than yes sign him. But imo if we want a fun team to watch, and not all this 1 on 1 junk than let him walk, and let Garcia start next year. I agree with you that Beno should be a backup (kind of an energy type player who can spot start like Bobby Jackson), but I think we should sign him after this year for a good 5 year deal. Martin and Garcia at the 2 and 3 remind me a lot of Prince, and Hamilton. That's not a bad combination. Garcia and Martin play very well together and compliment each other nicely. Let Miller start one more year, and have him come off the bench in 09-10 and start Hawes. Draft a PF this year, and try to get a 2nd 1st rounder and draft a PG like Collison, or Augustin. Start Beno one more year, and then start Collison/Augustin the following with Beno coming off the bench. Then we are set for years....

1. I hate contract years. Beno played awesome last night.

2. After a short first half of no action by John - practically invisible, he partially shows up to hit 2 huge 3 pointers and make a nice pass. Is it just me or is his body language…I don’t know. Not there I guess.

3. Brad, I love it when you dunk. Hell to the yeah.

4. Finally a Cisco and Martin appearance together. Yet Francisco didn’t really do anything out there. I really hope to see more of them together.

5. Reggie, please give Douby some extra time. I’m starting to think that Quincy got more minutes under Muss than Reggie.

7. Too much one-on-one in the first half, finally changing things up a bit in the second. Thank you.

8. I hope Anthony Johnson isn’t in our future plans. Maybe you should give that extra time to John and maybe he’ll just wake up and perform.
