I predict Nocioni replaces Garcia as starting SF. Cisco returns to his usual role as solid 6th man. Gooden is injured goods at the moment and probably plays very little until the season ends and is NOT resigned. Meanwhile, there may be other deals in the works or at the least Noc plays well (w/Donte others backing him up) and is showcased for a deal in offseason - if it makes sense.

Yeah you're probably right, I just don't want to see Nocioni at all. To me it's like trading for Radmanovic.

Andres is a lot tougher than Rad. At least Kings fans should like that. He's no star but has a lot of intangibles that a Rad or even Peja (nowadays) don't possess. I think Noc is a wash talent wise swapped for Salmons - even though they're different types. The wild card is the PF we got - not Gooden - but Simmons.

I'd say the wild card is Diogu. The kid can score and board. Has had a PER between 15-17 every year but this one too (since he has been buried on the bench and see basically negligible minutes). He's no potential star, but he has the talent to be a rotation player.

This is the first game all year where I feel we are in an actual rebuild.

When Miller and The Fish were out there I felt out 'rebuild' was weighed down by their veteran mediocrity.

This, again, is FUN to watch.
And thats one of the few times I have said that this year.

Anyone notice our lineup right now?
JT, Garcia, Bjax, Beno, Kmart... Small ball is back baby!!.... I guess even with two people getting traded Donte can't find much in the way for play time :(

Largely agree. I've been lobbying for Salmons and Miller to be shipped out even for expirings for awhile. Their attitudes with Miller not trying and Salmons needing to dominate the ball have been hurting us. We will probably be more competitive and fun to watch the rest of the year even though we just lost talent in this trade.
