we beat Hawks at home - big deal

It is a BIG deal, piksi.

We're seeing camraderie, we're seeing team play, we're seeing...dare I say it? ... DEFENSE. We're seeing a team that only a couple of months ago was so down and disheartened that it was painful to watch, slowly get better.

I, for one, am loving this. Whatever reservations I had about Ron Artest, I thank the basketball gods the Maloofs and Petrie got the trade done and brought him here.

Quit raining on the parade. Let people enjoy these moments. It's been a very long time since we had much to celebrate at all.

In addition, we're seeing Butch and Sundance mature before our very eyes.

So, yes...it IS a big deal.

Just a little thing, but...at the end of the game the bench cleared and immediately headed for the locker room. I noticed that Artest waited for the guys on the floor to catch up, before he went in. I liked that.:)

We have to win as many games as possible this month and march . April we might have the toughest schedule in the nba .

vs clipps , at mavs, at spurs , at clipps, vs rox , vs suns, at nuggs,vs hornets , vs sonics .

the only team that is really mediocre are the sonics , rox will be fighting for the playoffs along with nuggs and hornets.

alright!! the clips twice!!;)

There are a lot of little things again, kennadog. piksi may not enjoy it, but I'm loving this. I am not going to make the mistake of not letting myself enjoy every single minute this time. It all went by way too fast last time. This time I'm going to savor every possible morsel...

GO KINGS!!!

That's not too bad of a schedule.

never thought I would hear any kings fan say that EVER. :D
:D just looks better in the end, I hate it when its a blowout and then in garbage time teams chip the lead down to like 8 or 9 pts in the end and doesnt make it look like it was as dominating of an effort, all because of garbage time. lol

I don't care who we're playing or where, I always love a "W." :D We did get spoiled, but I refuse to compare this team to "that" team. I have been excited about what I see recently. Not just Artest, but our Young Guns, too. I felt like we were wandering around in a depressing fog. Now I see some sunshine and maybe we can get moving again. And I can hope that someday we might be sailing high with the wind at our back again. (And that's all the mushy optimist in me for now.;) )

we have a 5 game road trip to start march and those 5 are very winable. we just got to get our winning nicotine patches on

i don't think he was waiting for everybody to get off. He was looking at 1 guy in particular the whole time and walked off with his arm around him. that guy was Francisco Garcia. Artest as literally taken him under his wing now and note the great defensive play of Garcia lately.

Yes, I noticed the last guy was Garcia and that was the main person he looked for. Still, he didn't just leave the floor without a backward glance at anybody. (Well, I don't think Corliss did either.)
