I was invited to a reception at ARCO tonight for those who have hosted groups to games at ARCO. It was nice getting together with those who have worked hard to get groups to the games, as well as to be recognized and thanked by MS&E.
I was fortunate enough to sit at a table with George and his wife. And, yes, he had his camera. I don't believe I have ever seen him without it.
They gave away pairs of KingsRow tickets for 1/2 doz games or so. No, I did not win one, and neither did George.
Yolanda made a guest appearance. I spoke to her afterwards and told her I must give a report to everyone here. She said to say hi to all her fans at KingsFans.com.
Q: How is your knee?
A: Doing really well. I had a chance to really rest it for a couple of weeks and it feels just fine. I got out on the court for the 1st time today.
Q: Are you planning on playing overseas this year?
A: Yes, but I will only play about a 3 month stint.
Q: Are you going to be playing in Russia again?
A: No, I've had enough of Russia. **Yo laughs here.** I may play in Korea.
Q: Oh, is Tang still playing in Korea?
A: No, she was, but not this year.
Q: Well, I know you have people waiting to speak to you. I would ask if you plan on playing next year (for the Monarchs), but I don't figure you'd tell me the truth anyway.
A: **Yo really cracks up here.** No, I probably wouldn't. Well, again, tell everyone I said hello.
