George said we will NOT renovate PBP without the cites help. Thats like me asking the city to come remodel my house.
I can already see it, press conference from George next year, "The city refuses to pay to fix our arena so now we are force to file for relocation" Good ol George not taking the blame for anything.

I didn't actually hear him say that. He seemed to indicate that they would be exploring ways to renovate PBP themselves. I can find fault with a lot of things he said, but the only time I heard him mention the possibility of getting the city involved was the first tine they mentioned staying at PBP when they held their press conference.
I thought he said we will not do it (referencing the arena renovation) without the help of the city. may have misheard it.
Its so irritating that so many callers who dont even know simple facts about the this whole process are let on air at a time when people who have been following this all along cant even get on to debate with grant.

I think I was nit-picking. I definitely did not hear George say they wouldn't do the renovation without the help of the city, which is slightly different than saying they would look to renovate PBP with the help of the city.
Bottom line, however, is that there can be NO renovation until the levee situation (and resulting building moratorium in Natomas) is resolved.
EDIT: I listened to the news tonight on Fox40, and George Maloof did, in fact, say he would look into renovating PBP with the help of the city. (Interesting, since the rest of the time they're talking about how the city is broke, budgetary problems are massive, etc. but the city would have money to help some building owners renovate their own property????)

I am so sick of the lying Maloofs. Since they have failed at every single business they've had, I'm not going to believe they give a rip about the City of Sacramento. They just think that is what's going to endear them to the citizens, especially those who didn't want the arena deal.
Since AEG, the NBA, Taylor/ICON and the city all seemed to think this was a very good deal, I'm not going to believe a word out of the mouths of the business failures, the Maloofs.
Personally, I think the Maloofs just have no money left to be involved in the NBA as owners. My only hope is they have to sell at some point. If they don't sell, I think they'll either sneak out of town without NBA approval or continue to operate one of the worst franchises in the NBA, because they have no money.
At this point, I just loathe the Maloofs and hate them for what they have done to my Kings and to this city and its fans.

Anyone who has ever listened to his sports radio show knows he cares ONLY about his NY Giants and NY Yankees and holding onto for dear life as Kings TV announcer. I say don't buy anything from advertisers he promotes on KHTK and pressure those advertisers and demand the worthless idiot be fired.

It's funny Gavin called season ticket holders who threatened to cancel & what not but...
Gavin never called those who renewed their season tickets & thanking them for "renewing their legacy."
To me that's their way of showing they don't care about those who already renewed because they have your money so why bother when they need to chase those who will take away money they still need.
They need to hire better PR people.
